Situated in a splendid garden with box trees, lavender and many beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers, Auberge de Papenberg offers a peaceful location in the north of the Dutch province of Limburg. A continental breakfast is served on Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 10:00 h. and on weekends from 07:30 tot 10:00 h.
The atmospheric restaurant offers, besides specialities from Limburg, an extensive menu with seasonal dishes, all served against the backdrop of a tasteful interior. The restaurant is open after 17:00 h. on Monday through Saturday, reservation is required. On sunny days guests can enjoy their dinner on the outside terrace. The homely lounge is the perfect spot to enjoy an after dinner drink by the fireplace. Roomservice is available between 17:00 and 22:00 h.

Surroundings
Auberge de Papenberg lies at a convenient location between Nijmegen and Venlo. The area is rich in trees and has many good routes for walking and biking. There is also a golf course in the direct surroundings of the hotel. In Afferden one can also find the 'Golfbaan Bleijenbeek' with its 18-hole Championship course . The castle gardens of Arcen are also worth a visit, as is 'Kasteel Arcen' itself. The German border is only a stone's throw away. Just across the border one can find the place of pilgrimage 'Kevelaer', where the large Maria basilica is situated.
