Situated in the magnificent surroundings of the area 'Achterhoek', hotel Landgoed Ehzerwold forms an oasis of peace. It consists of two hotel wings with 114 modern twin rooms and a suite, each equipped with all comfort. You will find this hotel on the outskirts of the pastoral village Almen with its square and 14th century church. The nearby Hanseatic towns Zutphen and Deventer are definitely worth visiting as well. The surrounding area is characterized by flowery meadows, orchards and lakes. Countless walking and cycling routes will lead you along scenic areas such as 'Landgoed Velhorst'. This estate has been financially supported by the Dutch foundation for nature monuments since 1972 and has many characteristic farm with brightly painted blinds.
Landgoed Ehzerwold is entirely enclosed by the valley 'Berkelvallei', where you can enjoy yourself sportively as well. The possibilities range from farmers golf to Nordic Walking and the green surroundings offer possibilities for many types of sports. A sports field, an outdoor pool, a bicycle and canoo rental are all situated within a distance of 1 kilometre.
The estate 'Landgoed Ehzerwold' is also very suitable for business gatherings, conferences and meetings. In the hotel there are two large, nine medium-sized and eight smaller meeting rooms and eleven discussion rooms. All rooms are provided with a telephone, internet and a minibar and can be equipped with a flip-over and overhead projector with screen as well. The sun lounge in the park garden is a great location for a party.
