Hotel Agora Amsterdam

• – At night 3AM fire alarm started and switched off by itself after 5 mins,It was Panic for my family...and in morning when i asked my remark was taken very lightly that some one will be smoking in other room which i dont believe..and for 2 hours we were not able to sleep and offcource my 2 year child was realy scared.
• * my tip No Lift in hotel,not sure in case of emergency there is any pther Exit or not apart from stairs

All That's Amsterdam!

• + Great location for those wanting to explore Amsterdam - hotel is a short tram or taxi ride from Central Station and conveniently located with walking distance or a tram ride away from many attractions. Staff was helpful and friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable.
• * my tip Location; breakfast buffet included with room; convenient central location - either walking or by tram to shopping and eateries; canal tour; Anna Frank Huis; Experiences such as Heineken and Ajax.

Very noisy

• + Good location. Bedroom and bathroom clean and everything worked. Breakfast was good.
• – Night club beside hotel not only is noisy but made all the furniture in room Vibrate! Did not get much sleep when stayed. While facilites were OK they were not of a standard expected for the price of the room Oher hotels nearby only 20/30 euro more but with far better standard of facilites. Very steep stairs to rooms.
• * my tip Use Tram 1,2 or 5 to get to Hotel from Centraal Station.

Good location, but requireing a spot of redecoration.

• – The decor of the hotel is a bit tired and could do with a new paint job, also the lighting in the room was very dull.

Small friendly place for the young at heart and legs of all ages.

• + All staff very helpful and lovely friendly manner. Bed wide and super comfortable. An outside space to sit in.
• – Was told attempts were being made to upgrade hotel and yes, stairs and bedroom could do with some freshening up. Stairs very steep for the less physically able. Downside of central location is the inevitable street noise. Stayed during week, so no extra noise from bars.
• * my tip Restaurants within 5 mins walk: Haesje Claes on Spuistraat for Dutch cooking, booking essential; Sampurna, opposite Flower market for Indonesian and Casa di David, along the Singel for Italian.

• + Breakfast was good and the staff I saw were friendly. Bathroom was ok and the water was hot and shower worked well.
• – Room very dated and "tired" and would have been small for 2- I was in a double but on my own. Old water damage stains covered a lot of the ceiling- not very attractive .
• * my tip I would recommend for price and location but my room needed some updating and decorating and would have been small for 2 people.

Transportation is very convenient , but facility is poor

• + Some hotel receptionist ( Mr) is very helpful for us.
• – Noisy especially week end. Window is old and not shut prfectly. Receptionist is only one person and always busy and changed. No Elevetor Stay fee per day too much gap

Good option for family of 4 if you are travelling light

• + Good, convenient location on the edge of the Jordaan district, quiet courtyard, querky loft apartment for a family of four, nice continental breakfast included. Make sure you are fine with carrying suit cases up stairs as there are 7 flights of curved stairs to the loft apartments.
• – no mosquito screens on windows - it was over 30 degrees C while we were there and the mosquitos were bad.
• * my tip good option for a family of four if you are travelling light or don't mind carrying suit cases up stairs

bare-bones but adequate

• + Affordable, convenient location, friendly staff, decent breakfast
• – no elevator or air conditioning, mosquitoes (because you will have to leave the windows open, because of the lack of air conditioning)

This hotel has a great location and is very friendly

• + Very nice hotel near the flower market on the canal. The people were very friendly, and for the cost you can't beat it. Our initial room was very small, so we got it changed to a much larger one, which made our stay wonderful. We really felt at home in our cozy attic room. Immaculate bathroom a real plus!!!
• – Not the hotel's fault...as this is a typical Amsterdam house converted into a hotel, there isn't a lift, just lots of stairs! This lent an air of authenticity to staying in the city.

Voor Amsterdamse begrippen hele goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding!

• – Naast een discotheek tot zes uur muziek . Om half 10 de restjes van het ontbijt niets meer te krijgen.

Schmutziges Hotel mit guter Lage

• + Gute Lage!
• – Verschmutzte Tassen im Gang, offene Wände, unangenehmer Geruch im Treppenhaus + Gang, Frühstück war "bescheiden".

• + midden in het centrum
• – Bedden hebben kuilen ontbijd is karig

Voor jongelui met kleine beurs is dit een leuke locatie!

• + goede verlichting, badkamer zag er nieuw en verzorgd uit. klantcontact was vriendelijk. locatie is prima. wifi is aanwezig.
• – geen lift en moest veel trappen lopen. ik ben 64 en dat is wat lastig met koffer/bagae. kamermeubels zagen er meer dan uitgeleefd uit. tv deed het slecht en geen afstandsbediening. lakens gelijk op matras! niet fris daardoor.
• * my tip Als u niet ouder bent dan 40 en goed terbeen bent en kleine beurs hebt dan is dit een leuke locatie midden in de stad.

• – Personeel niet geïnteresseerd in hun gasten

goed, goedkoop en centraal gelegen

• + ligt erg centraal; met aan de voorkant ook nog uitzicht op het water; goed bed, lekker ontbijt; en vooral goedkoop voor zo'n centrale plek (al hadden we dus wel een aanbieding voor 60 euro per nacht inclusief ontbijt voor twee)

echt Amsterdam, klein, vriendelijk hotel

• + Echt in het centrum bij de Munttoren
• – Onbijt was vrij eenvoudig, ik misteeen vers croisantje.
• * my tip Cafe Luxmenbourg is trendy Stadsarchief in Utrechtsestraat is een aanrader

hotel op goede locatie in centrum van Amsterdam

• + goede douche, prima bedden
• – internet niet optimaal, zeer beperkt ontbijt

• + Heel vlakbij het centrum, super locatie dus!
• – Niet luxe, maar het is ook een twee sterren hotel, en ontbijt was matig, en geen fohn aanwezig!

Goed voor weekendje Amsterdam.

• – ontbijt was wat karig.

ideaal hotelletje voor studenten die citytrippen!

• + Enorm centraal gelegen, behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel, comfortabele bedden en ideaal badkamertje.
• – vochtplekken in de kamer.

Centrum Amsterdam, simpel verblijf.

• + Heerlijk bed, goede douche.
• – Geen bad zoals beschreven, disco oid als buren... Erg simpel ontbijt slecht aangevuld.

voor 1 nachtje een aanrader

• + Erg centrale ligging en goed ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel met prettige uitstraling.
• – Eetzaal en kamer waren niet schoon en oogden onverzorgd. Hang en sluitwerk van de ramen in de hotelkamer was kapot waardoor ongenode gasten eenvoudig binnen konden komen.
• * my tip Boek een kamer met zicht op de gracht dat is geweldig mooi.

voor 1 nacht is dit een prima hotel

• + sanitair schoon, goede bedden, prettig ontvangst
• – -stoffig, spiegels kast vlekkerig. -erg kleine handdoeken -geen lift -wat muffig

Angenehmes, nostalgisches Haus mit freundlichen Menschen in ausg Lage.

• + Wir waren da und es hat gepasst.
• – Keine.

• + Die zentrale Lage direkt neben dem Blumenmarkt ist toll, allerdings auch entsprechend laut, da direkt nebenan ein Club mit lauter Musik ist.
• – Auf vorherige zweimalige Anfrage, wo man Parken kann, habe ich keine Antwort erhalten Wir hatten im Badezimmer weder eine Steckdose für den Föhn (dafür aus der Wand raushängende Kabel), noch eine Klobürste. Letztere auch nicht nach Reklamation. Auf der Zimmerinnentür war der Maximalpreis für das Zimmer mit 158 Euro angegeben, gezahlt haben wir 215 Euro. Lapidare Antwort: der Manager hätte mal die Preise angehoben. Insgesamt etwas verstaubt und auch das Zimmer nicht wirklich sauber. S

Prima ligging en gezien prijs/kwaliteit zeker aan te bevelen.

• + het tuintje verraste ons. je kon na het ontbijt nog even een krantje lezen,hetgeen voor 75 + wel aangenaam is. Kamer en sanitair was schoon !
• – gezien de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding geen opmerkingen. Er is geen lift, dus waren we blij dat we op de 1e verdieping zaten. Voor jongeren zeker aan te bevelen.Het ontbijt werd wat traag aangevuld, maar dat komt waarschijnlijk omdat er maar een persoon beschikbaar was voor balie, telefoon en buffet.

Top Lage!!! Leider schlechte Hygiene und mäßiges Frühstück

• – ein Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen, stark fleckige Sessel, beim Einzug war das Klo nicht sauber!! Frühstück mit kalten Eiern und lappigen Brötchen...Flur riecht stark muffig

Qua kwaliteit een budgethotel: qua prijs niet echt "budget".

• + Prima bed en matras. Schoon sanitair. Mooie serre. Leuk uitzicht op de gracht.
• – Spinnewebben in kamer. Kamer was stoffig. Personeel was vriendelijk maar niet erg professioneel. Oud raamkozijn dat werd open gehouden door middel van een flesje. Gelukkig was daar dan wel weer een nieuw raam vóór geplaatst......
• * my tip Prima voor een of twee nachten. Hotel ligt vlakbij tramhalte naar centrum.

• – We were woke up at 4 in the morning by drunk people in the yards, those people climbed up on the roof and were next to our window... I think that they were customers in one of the rooms next door and got out by their own window... I guess it was bad luck but it was not very pleasant...

leuk hotel midden in de stad. Goed voor 1 nacht

• + Midden in de stad en een lekker ontbijtje
• – We konden de ramen niet open zetten 's nachs vanwege herrie van een ws airco op de binnenplaats.
• * my tip Ik zou kiezen voor een kamer aan de straatkant.
