WestCord Fashion Hotel Amsterdam is located across from the World Fashion Centre, inside the ring road A10. From the 4-star hotel it is a mere 10-minute ride to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport and the RAI Convention and Exhibition Centre. By tram the vibrant Leidseplein is also just 10 minutes away.

The WestCord Fashion Hotel Amsterdam is open since July 2009. It offers 260 modern, spacious design rooms with a Fashion theme. The stylish appearance and the luxurious amenities of the hotel will certainly surprise you. Several trams stop in front of the hotel. WestCord Fashion Hotel Amsterdam is owned and managed by WestCord Hotels.

You can truly relax in the wellness centre, which houses a sauna, Turkish steam bath, solarium, swimming pool, solarium and a fitness room. Underneath the hotel a parking area is available at an additional charge. For business meetings there are seven spacious rooms and eight boardrooms available. In the SKYYbar you can have a nice cocktail and the hotel also has a restaurant.

Food and Drinks

Each morning the breakfast is served from 07:00 until 10:00 h.
In the hotel you can enjoy a meal in the stylish restaurant, that is next to the terrace. On the tenth floor lies the luxurious SKYYbar, which offers a selection of trendy cocktails. From the Skybar you can take in the magnificent view of Amsterdam. It is also possible to order room service.

In the hotel guests can make free use of wireless internet.

Surroundings

WestCord Fashion Hotel Amsterdam is located across from the World Fashion Centre, close to the Rembrandtpark. From the hotel it only takes 10 minutes to reach Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, the RAI Convention and Exhibition Centre and the bars of the Leidseplein. You can take tram 1 to reach the centre and the Central Station. The tram also stops close to the Vondelpark and at the Dam square.

Funky hotel for those that don't mind walking or tram ride to centre.

Amazing discount for out of season visit. Very modern and stylish hotel, clean and comfortable. Free swimming pool and gym. Tram stop 5 minutes walk away with direct links to centre (5 minute ride). Great shower. Free refridgerated tray. Right next to motorway so easy to drive to.

Out of centre - probably a 15-20 minute walk from Leidseplein but too cold to walk in February! Sauna was 7.50 per person. No music channel on TV. Parking for hotel cost around 20 euros per 24 hour period.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, perfect for a romantic getaway

Beautiful hotel, Skyy bar fantastic. Rooms very comfortable. Excellent access to trams, airport, city centre, Leidseplein etc. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean and comfortable.

Restaurant prices (bar food) and breakfast prices were very expensive.

Luxurious, clean, spacious rooms, quiet and comfortable. Good service from the hotel staff. Relatively good value, although we got a good deal because the hotel is still under construction.

Give them some more time.

New, nice and clean. But not ready yet to cope with us, demanding travellers. For couples. Not for families. we had to cover the bathroom (glass doors/windows)with newspaper for my 12 year old daughter to be able to take a bath.

Could not charge our cameras, cell phone, laptop, PSP... Current in the bathroom was according to them only for shavingmachines??!! We could charge them in other hotels in Europe though. Take your own adapter. They do not have that either.

• Wireless Internet: a big minus, it is not working! I booked this hotel for a business trip. I chose it over hotels that had breakfast included, but only had Internet in the lobby. I needed wireless internet in my hotel room, and this hotel was supposed to have it. I had to sit in the hallway to receive any Internet. The woman at the reception desk (in the evening) said the technician would have a look at it. But the woman in the morning said it won't help, if a technician looked at it. She suggested we could switch rooms to see, if it helped. First of all, we had already unpacked. Second of all, another couple came just this moment who were located at a completely different location in the hotel, closer to entrances etc, and they also did not have reception. • Sauna: it is promoted, but then costs 7.50 Euro! • Local transport: it was mentioned on the website that the hotel is close to a tram station. Not true, Surinameplein is a bit to walk plus there is no sidewalk, so very dangerous with all the cars. • Skybar: not open yet, so bar in lobby was always over crowded. Waiters were friendly and helpful, but one person was just not enough.

Ontbijtbuffet was prima!

* Receptiepersoneel niet erg representatief (kauwgom in mond bij receptie). * Parkeergarage niet aangegeven waardoor je al snel een half uur aan het zoeken bent. * Douche werd continue koud/warm *Vanuit hotel naar Surinameplein lopen om tram te pakken is op zich prima, maar er is geen stoep aangelegd. Je moet dus over een stuk weg lopen waar het ook nog eens verboden is voor voetgangers. Vreemd dus. Wij hebben een fijn weekend gehad, maar zullen een volgend weekend amsterdam niet meer in het fashion hotel boeken.

vriendelijk aan de balie. Lekker eten.

smerige kamer. Slecht schoongemaakt. Haren in bad. Vieze kringen en vingers op alles wat maar van glas is. Badkamer stinkt naar riolering. Als je het water uit het bad laat lopen komt het uit het doucheputje omhoog. Erg stoffig. Erg zonde vind ik want de kamer op zich is prima maar neem aub goed schoonmaakpersoneel aan en controleer het ook!

Keinerlei Haken oder Stangen für Badetücher, keine Ablage in der Douche, zu wenig Licht, Spiegel in der Schranktür nicht nutzbar weil die Schranktür sich nicht ganz öffnen lässt, zu wenig Steckdosen, Amraturen teilweise defelt (Hotel ist erst 3 Monate alt!), Wasser in der Douche läuft nicht in Richtung Abfluss sondern genau in die andere Richtung, Frühstückstische schmuddelig

Zeer goede bediening, zowel in de bar als bij de receptie, Alles vriendelijk en proffessioneel. Ontbijt op de kamer klasse Bij een klacht had men goed gehoor en gaf service door een ontbijt van de twee gratis te geven ter compensatie klacht .....GOED

Geweldige kamers

Nette kamers en goed verzorgd ,heerlijk eten maar wel erg prijzig zeker via roomservices spagetti boulanaise €17,- kan volgens mij wel wat gunstiger

Waterafvoer is een Drama in de badkamers alles staat in korte douche blank. Parkeergarage is te omslachtig met in en uit rijden ,veel te korte draaicircel snel schade aan je wagen.

Een Hotel wat zeker uitstraling heeft maar nog niet klaar is!!

Het bed was heerlijk!! De kamer was netjes. Het ontbijt was zeer goed verzorgd!! Het Hotel was pas twee weken open dus alles was nieuw!!

Je kon merken dat het hotel pas twee weken open was.Alles was nog niet afgewerkt. Er was nog geen informatiemap,we wisten zelfs niet hoe we de receptie moesten bellen. De receptionisten wisten weinig info te geven over Amsterdam. Een tramhalte dichterbij was ook wel handig.
