Apple Inn Hotel Amsterdam is located opposite the beautiful 'Vondelpark'. In the vicinity of the hotel you will find the renowned 'Rijksmuseum', the 'Van Gogh Museum' and the 'Stedelijk Museum'. All rooms in this characteristic town house have private facilities.

Basic but good value.

It was very cheap by Amsterdam standards. Clean and warm. Right beside the no.2 tram line, so easy to get to the museums etc.

Staff were pretty ignorant. And check out at 11a.m. really means 11a.m.

Amsterdam- don't miss it!

Pleasantly surprised. Very good room on ground floor with patio area. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was o.k. and kept topped up!A bit out of town but lovely walk through Vondel Park to get there or no. 2 tram runs right past hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.Also our radiator did not work and was attended to immediately.Our room no.22 had a patio with table and chairs which we used every day as the weather was good.The breakfast was very nice and the dining room was very bright and pleasantly decorated.The trams were very frequent and passed by the hotel.

A very old and grubby looking bath for which we bought a rubber mat.Some lack of privacy due to no blinds or curtain on the overhead window at the back and guests could look down from floors above and wave.

Awfully sharp and narrow stairs! Only one plug point in the hole room (it was to the TV). There wasn't any even in the showerroom/toilet!

This hotel has 2 stars but is really a nice 3 star hotel. The hotel was to a very good standard, and the location was perfect and much nicer than I had imagined. We were pleasantly surprised by the very friendly and helpful staff. Our rooms were all on the ground floor and very adequate for the price paid, and the standard of cleanliness was top rate. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with sufficient choice to suit every taste, and (a first in my experience of hotel catering) perfect boiled eggs and really fresh orange juice.

Quite steep stairs, though it's rather common in Amsterdam as I know.

It is a pleasant enough hotel and is away from the centre, although only a short tram ride away. I would recommend it.

I am being honest. the hygiene at the time of our stay reflects on the work that was being done to the hotel at that time, there was more dust then to be expected, although this should have reduced the price at that time.

Plenty of hot water with good pressure in the shower (no bath tub) and the beds were good.

The Apple Inn Hotel Amsterdam is in my opinion overpriced and doesn't live up to the quality level you would expect for the amount they charge for their rooms. My room was very small, the TV was miniscule and the paint didn't stick to the walls in the miniature bathroom. The picture of the rooms on the website was clearly not taken in the room I was given.

The breakfast meal was somewhat poor, e.g. a greater variety of bread would have been appreciated. At our visit the ongoing repair work was a bit messy. Otherwise we found everything in good order.

Tram stops quite close to the hotel and there is a pleasant park nearby. No other plus points at all in my view.

The hotel was a long way from the city centre - 25 minutes by tram. It was very basic, very shabby - broken tiles on floors, thin towels in bathroom v. Chairs in the breakfast room were badly stained. Although we arrived an hour or more after the time the room was to be available we still had to wait. I would definitely not stay there again or recommend it to anyone else visiting Amsterdam. For one night it was acceptable but not for any longer than one night.

The room was really pretty, with a view to somebody's back yard, but really comforable and fresh and a very good light. The breakfast was delicious and complete. The people at the reception desk were very nice. The location is nice, in a quiet neighborhood near the Vondelpark, in front of the tram.

We had a large heavy bag and had to climb up a very steep staircase with it. It would have been nice if they had a lift or somebody to help out with heavy bags. There was some work being done in the house, but it didn't bother that much. It is far away from the train station, about half an hour in the tram.

Er waren problemen met de verwarming, maar kreeg daarna snel een betere/luxure kamer.

Prima hotel voor een lage prijs

De ligging is prima evenals de sfeer in de kamer. Bedden zijn prima.

Ik had twee keer gebeld om door te geven dat wij later dan 16u zouden aankomen. Dit is uiteindelijk niet gecommuniceerd met de receptionist die later dienst had. Hij wist van niets, erg vervelend. Daarnaast was het ontbijt érg vroeg (tot half 10, op zondag!) en deed het licht het niet in de badkamer. En o ja, de douche was vreselijk, of te warm of te koud en een klein straaltje. Maar ja, wat kun je verwachten voor die prijs?

Die Lage ist sehr gut, leider wiegt das die Mängel nicht auf.

Der Sessel im Zimmer war dreckig, der Stoff war völlig abgenutzt. Der Teppich im Zimmer befand sich in einem katastrophalen Zustand. Die Dusche und Waschbecken waren nicht o.K. und hygenisch. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist völlig inakzeptabel.

Op loopafstand van het centrum. Prima en schone kamer en badkamer. Dat wij ons verblijf niet door onvriendelijk personeel laten verprutsen en wij desondanks een heerlijk weekend Amsterdam hebben gehad. Om de prijs en de ligging zouden wij dus ook weer gerust naar dit hotel teruggaan.

Zeer slecht ontvangst, personeel aan receptie erg onvriendelijk. Ontbijt slecht georganiseerd, droog brood, alles (koffie, thee, jus d'orange, boter, brood, beleg, suiker, melk) was op en werd pas bijgevuld als er door de gasten om werd gevraagd. In onze kamer was geen kast waar we onze jassen en kleding konden ophangen. De kast die er wel was zat vol met dekens, kon niets bij in. Tv had zeer slecht tot geen ontvangst

Ligging bij het centrum

Kamers zijn erg gehorig. Hotel is tamelijk oud en vervallen, wordt deels wel opgeknapt wat resulteert in plamuurplekken en half geschilderde oppervlakten.
