The A-Train Hotel is a pleasant family-run hotel that lives up to its name. It is located across from the Central Train Station and is decorated according to the 'train' theme. Because of its central location, many interesting Amsterdam attractions can be easily reached.
The unique and cosy A-Train Hotel Amsterdam is established in a typical Amsterdam building across from the Central Train Station. From there, the train, tram, bus or metro takes you to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the RAI Convention and Exhibition Centre or the World Trade Centre within less than 20 minutes. Shopping streets, interesting sights, cafés and restaurants can be found within walking distance of the hotel.
The rooms are comfortably furnished and equipped with a modern bathroom. The train-theme can not only be found in the hotel's name but also in the room decoration. Yet, no two rooms are exactly alike.
Food and Drinks
The continental breakfast buffet is served from 07:00 to 10:00 h. in the Pullman lounge, which also serves as a good place to relax during the day with a bite or a beverage.
The hotel does not have a restaurant, but many options for lunch or dinner can be found in the near surroundings.
Internet

- Tiny tiny room! So very noisy! Asked for smoking - couldn't get it. Also sign in the room said strictly no drugs, which was a problem as we'd come for the Cannabis cup!

- This is our second stay in this wonderful hotel. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and an excellent breakfast was on offer each morning. As it is opposite the Centraal Station, it is easily accessible for all of the public transport routes. Can't fault it at all.

- Zeer vriendelijke mensen en de speelhoek was een schot in de roos voor onze oudste zoon. Ook het feit dat het hele hotel in het thema van treinen stond, vond hij super.
Sober maar lekker ontbijt.
- In de familiekamer waar we lagen was een klein hoogteverschil tussen de speelhoek en de bedden. Zowel mijn partner als ik als mijn oudste zoon hebben dit aan den lijve mogen ondervinden door er met onze tenen tegen te stoten. Mss dat daar in de toekomst ooit iets aan kan gedaan worden.

- Je betaalt wat, maar je krijgt er ook wel wat voor.
- Alles wat je op een hotelkamer mag verwachten was aanwezig op de beperkte ruimte van de kamer en alles was netjes en schoon en zeer up to date en nieuw voorzien. Ontbijt was prima.
- Erg warme kamer met beperkte ventilatie- en doorluchtmogelijkheden. Ventilatie/klimaatapparatuur was lawaaiig, ook 's nachts.
