In hotel NH Barbizon Palace a breakfast buffet is daily served from 07:00 to 10:00 h.
The fully equipped kitchen in the apartments is perfect to prepare your own meal. You could also visit the hotel's excellent Restaurant Vermeer, or the informal Hudson's Terrace & Restaurant. Tapas and cocktails are on the menu of bar Mar-Dique.

NH Barbizon Palace Apartments are located in the oldest part of Amsterdam, across from the Central Station. By train Schiphol Amsterdam Airport can be reached in about 20 minutes. Nearby you can catch one of the canal boats. Enjoy a stroll to Dam square, where you will find the wax statue museum Madame Tussauds and the royal palace. The shops of the Kalverstraat and Magna Plaza are also within walking distance.

My stay at the

Staff was very helpful - especially when the TV became detached from the wall. The location is excellent being right across the street from the central train station. I really like the setup in the apartment - the entryway separated from all the other rooms, the window looking down on Zeedijk below, the kitchen and the ability to cook in it, the large ceiling windows in the bedroom, and the heated floor in the very spacious restroom. I will be looking forward to staying at another NH Hotel when i return to Europe.

The main TV was not mounted properly to the wall and when extended on it's arm it became detached from the wall mount and fell forward. This caused a minor inconvenience however the staff worked diligently to resolve this in a very timely manner.
