Friendly staff, large room size, very quiet, good view of the canal, lots of restaurants in the area that are walking distance from the hotel. Lots of banks with atm within walking distance from the hotel

In early September (late summer/early autumn), when the weather is pleasant outside - somehow they made the air-conditioning make the room exceedingly hot, despite being set to the coolest it would go.
The beds were very very soft - not good for your back.

I am so used to staying with hotels that have breakfast and parking included that I was sad I couldn't eat at the restaurant in the hotel. That would have been much nicer. The location is not bad as it is very safe but taxi and tram prices for a large family is pretty pricey.
*my tipThere is nothing wrong with the hotel, it's beautiful. However, you will pay lots of money out of pocket for tram and taxi prices to the city, especially if you are a large family traveling. Breakfast and parking are not free another thing to consider if you are traveling on a budget. Other than that I am very pleased with my stay.

The price is decent and the hotel is across the street from an amazing Egyptian steak house that has the best spare ribs on the planet. Seriously! Only 15 minutes from the airport, even in morning traffic.

Mattresses are way to soft and the pillows are way too hard; noise from the street cars (trains) can be disturbing while trying to sleep if your room is on the street side. I've stayed at this hotel four times and the last time the heater didn't work in the room so I nearly froze by morning. One of the two elevators has been out of order for months, and the buttons for the other one don't light up, so you don't know if the elevator knows you're waiting or whether it knows what floor you w

We should have a 4pers room, but because of a system problem we had 2 rooms for 2pers + this two room didn't have air conditioner we had to ask something like 10 time to finally change our room the day after... Not a 4stars hotel.
