Boutique Hotel Maxime is a stylish place where you can stay within walking distance of the city's many interesting sights. It's also nice to enjoy a picnic in the Vondelpark, a green oasis where Amsterdammers enjoy coming to. The hotel's location is great for fashionistas, with labels such as Hugo Boss, Armani and Gucci around the corner. Lovers of culture will also appreciate a visit to the impressive art collections at the Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh Museum.

  • Because the hotel is automated (PIN code access, no reception) there is clearly little management control from a a House Manager over the Maid Service .... old towels removed ... fresh towels forgotten etc
  • * my tip If you want to visit a major museum or art exhibition, then dont forget to reserve in advance on the internet. Avoid taking a car to Amsterdam ... my car was broken into in a City of Amsterdam Video Guarded P R. The Police said that the Video Guard was to be improved

sharing customer s email address from to the hotel itself
  • + Nice location comfortable room and bed affordable price considering the location
  • I had to call the hotel for checking in. I was asked for my email address, the telephone line was bad, there was a misunderstanding I had no code to open the hotel s door Why couldn t my email address have been sent by to the hotel itself (Boutique Hotel Maxime Amsterdam) This would have saved lots of energy, phonecalls etc.

Good value in a great location.
  • + Fabulous location and good clean well appointed rooms
  • No breakfast available until 8.30 from the bar below. The staff in the bar downstairs double as hotel staff so reception can be a little hit or miss.
  • (Travelling alone)
  • + extremly friendly and helpful staff. They've been willing to help at any time, also in organising the transport I needed.
  • hotel is outdated and looks more like a dormitory. Not for people, who like comfort and 24h hotel service, since there is no reception open most of the day, however staff in the bar downstairs is always available and willing to help. Not the best location for city center sightseeings, but is located in peacful street right beside Vondelpark. No breakfast included, bar/restaurant downstairs has very limited menu and closes down at 6 p.m. already. During my stay eleveator was broken down and i ne
  • * my tip if you're looking just for overstay near to Vondelpark, this hotel is ok. If you need a real hotel with all the hotel services and would like to be near to city center, don't go there.
