Anonymous Convenient location for public transport but no frills or scenery: 19 July 2011; 6.6; + Close to underground station, convenient for parking outside town and using public transport into Amsterdam centre and the ArenA, clean but very plain room; - Expensive for the standard of hotel albeit convenient and clean, not "scenic" but practical

joseph camilleri Good hotel if you prefer quiet area: 18 June 2011; 8.0; + it is located in a quite area, close to the metro,breakfast is good and dinner is always different,staff are friendly and helpfull.even tea and coffee making facilities.; - would like to suggest that in the hanging clothes wardrobe there should be some shelves to put yr t shirts underwear etc cause for one person is enough but not enough for two persons,well still i would recommend it.

Agustinus: 19 May 2008; 8.6; + The room is clean, very pleasant bed, cleaned up every day, water is warm with bath tub, many mirrors, quiet surroundings, completed with water boiler, cookies, tea and nice TV. It is located very near to Metro Gaasperplas station, although it takes about 25 minutes from Amsterdam center. The metro is quite often and available till late night.

viajante_biz: 4 February 2008; 5.8; + Breakfast was up to expectations and the matress was comfortable.; - Heating was off upon arrival and it took me 1-2h to realize why I was freezing.. It took the reception another 30 min (after visiting them twice) to come and switch it on. Why was it off in the first place when temps outside were below 10C?

Olivia, London: 24 September 2007; 7.2; + The hotel is literally 20 seconds from the metro station so it is easy to find. Metro trains depart every 10/15 mins (on a schedule) and take 20 mins to the central station - this makes the hotel great value for seeing the city centre.; - Slow front desk service. Breakfast not included (and expensive).

There's no refridgerator in the room.

It was making a lot of noise when it had reached the desired room temperature. The restaurant dinner service was very poor and the prices were twice as expensive as compared to the quality! Nothing much to recommend about this hotel. I don`t think the over all quality can get any lower than this hotel!

Transport to Amsterdam was easily accessible from the hotel and frequent I cannot really fault the hotel and its staff in any way; - The only minus point that i can think of is that you did not have a private balcony to sit on when relaxing

jeannet hanewacker Kom hier niet voor het buffet,slapen is prima.: 30 May 2011; 6.2; + koffie thee op de kamer; - Het eten zou ik niet aanbevelen!!!!!!!!! We waren met een groep en kozen voor het buffet, maar alles 6 dingen was lauw en slap, na een klacht te hebben ingediend kwam er een manager met gouden tand en zwarte krullen dat we niet moesten zeuren want alles was 70 graden hadden ze nagemeten nou ja het was niet te vreten , dus conclusie we hebben het veel te duur betaald. We waren met 9 mensen en komen elk jaar maar nu niet weer.

M. Prima hotel voor een kort verblijf: 15 March 2011; 6.4; + Buiten verwachting een prima diner voor een goede prijs. Zelden zo'n lekkere saté gegeten.; - Slecht bed erg hard. De aankleding van ontbijtzaal annex diner was wat kil en staat in schril contrast met het geserveerde eten wat voor de prijs kwalitatief hoogwaardig was.

P.J.A.M. van de Ven Aankomen, moe, even wat eten, wat drinken, slapen, onbijt en vlug weg: 23 December 2010; 5.0; + net personeel, vriendelijk. goed bereikbaar ook met openbaar vervoer.; - alles was er wel maar het was wel zeer minmaal en erg onpersoonlijk. Standaard, standaard. Ontbijt was slecht en voldeet zeker niet aan hetgeen men mag wensen c.q. eisen . Brood oud en droog , kaas uitgedroogd, eitjes keihard, geen eierdopjes, weinig keuze in vleessoorten etc. etc. De hele boel lag uit te drogen, verkeerd en te vroeg geplaats in koelingen en vitrines , en te lang en te veel in een vitrine. De keuringsdienst van waren zou hier echt een punt hebben.
