Lovely stay

• + Its a very cool experience to stay on a sailing ship.
• – Recommended (cheapest) parking is rather far away, but a tram ticket is included.

Correct, nice atmosphere but a bit small and far away.

• + We liked the atmosphere of the sail ship and knew there would be little space to move around. The hygiene was perfect and there were plenty of hot water for the showers. Nice cosy welcome and familiar service. Normal correct hotel breakfast
• – - The "kahyt" was really very small, especially the bathroom. - It is situatet a bit far away from the center of the town, would be nice if it had been just a little bit closer to the central station. - Please inform guests about the strange, loud noice during night, when the big cruisers arrive/leave - I was scarred and my husband had to check outside/upstairs to see what was happening!!

• + clean comfortable rooms, friendly service, good price, safety when walking from central station, quiet area, nice breakfast
• – took time getting used to the rocking boat, beds very soft, no ventilation in bathroom, could hear guests in the hallway, slight walk to tourist locations

A nice experience!

Unique & romantic experience that you should definitely try!

• + Nice location and view. Close to Central station (by bus it's only 8 min - on foot about 20 min). Clean and cozy. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and fresh.
• – Could have a more intense heating element in the room (if you stay during winter time,then better get warm pajamas)
• * my tip "Bistrot neuf" Romantic dinner with tasty & gourmet dishes, good value for your money!

A great hotel at a great price.

• + Very well-maintained, a very good price for Amsterdam (although expensive compared to UK hotels), very helpful staff, and what a nice talking point to be staying on a ship! We had a lovely time.
• – The beds were a bit soft for my liking.
• * my tip I would definitely stay here - it's a great location. You can get the 48 bus into the centre of town very easily.

• + Staff couldn't be more helpful, very efficient despite a mix up with the dates (Our fault) plus an excellent breakfast Recommended

• + Loads of character.... definitely added to the Amsterdam experience. Wonderful breakfast. Compact but perfectly formed rooms. Good shower facilities. Friendly, relaxed service. Bus stop very close (useful as 20 mins walk from old centre)
• – The two single beds pushed together did not work as a double bed. This was the one thing that detracted from what would have been a very romantic hotel. Land lovers may find the rocking sensation disorientating when back on dry land (as my girlfriend did). It didn't bother me.

Living on a boat! Worth the penny

• + In a country surrounded by water, a city with thousands of boats. Whats the point of going Amsterdam and living on land while you could live on a boat for a day or two, enjoying the life of Amsterdam. This is highly recommended for those who is not seasick, and those who prefer quiet and peaceful area and living.

Great Stay

• + lovely boat, room very cosy, one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on. lovely breakfast and the owners were fantastic hosts
• – 15-20 minutes walk from the centre although there is a bus stop outside the boat
• * my tip bring comfortable walking shoes with you

• + an excellent, out of the ordinary, place to stay, owned and run by genuine good kind people.

A unique and cosy hotel boat experience!

• + - a beautiful ship, with really cosy rooms. - the room was bigger than I expected for a boat! - nice breakfast - the couple who own it are very friendly
• – - it is about 20 minutes walk along the dock, from Amsterdam central station, so we got good exercise, but you can always take a bus.
• * my tip In case you have a bad Google map printout and are confused about getting there - turn right out of Amsterdam central station and keep walking. Follow signs to Java island. After 10 mins or so, there's a bridge to java island to your left. Go over the bridge, and go right, round the back of the island. when we arrived the hotel ship was attached to another boat, so it wasn't obvious!

• + Beautiful boat. Very comfy and clean rooms. Really good fun and much much much better than any amsterdam hotel for this price...

• + This Hotel stay was marvelous, the ship was very easy to get to and very close to key sites in Amsterdam. Service was excellent and the ship and room were clean and neat. I would recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Amsterdam.

5 Star Romantic Hotel Ship In Amsterdam

• + The ship was beautiful. The service was 5 star. I loved the room - it was clean and perfect. The staff made me feel like I was at home. The inside of the ship was so romantic - too bad I was alone. Next time I will bring my sweetie. You must stay at this hotel ship. The price was the best and to me - it was worth every penny. There were plenty of romantic places to eat nearby. And they have a BAR with an awesome bartender!!!. Serve me up a cold beer please. I will be staying on the hotel ship for ALL future trips to Amsterdam
