Staying in Amsterdam at an affordable price

  • – bathroom sink difficult to use with shelf on top and sink being so small could move the shelving to the side under soap dispenser so you can lean over the sink rince your mouth after brushing teeth. Maybe more hanging space for clothes or open shelving . We were only there for 2 nights and travel light but still we had to pile on the floor almost as with coats etc hanging space taken up.

  • + De Pijip is a very cool neighborhood. Hotel is in a good location, easy to get to Amsterdam center. Comfy bed, very secure, good value, clean!

  • + Rather close from the centre next to the tram stop Ferdinand Bolstraat. The area the hotel is located is quiet and nice. The room was clean and tidy - and the price extremely affordable! If you're on a budget, I definitely recommend the hotel.

no frills, great value
  • + This is a great no frills hotel. Good for a short stay where you don't need the room for more than sleeping and showering. The bed is very comfortable.
  • – it is very minimal in the sense that there isn't even a chair or table in the room. Be prepared to keep your clothes on the floor. You can't open the windows. To stop the noise of the air conditionng take the room card out of the reader.
