+ Excellent location to get to city centre and musea. Very friendly staff. Quick service to each response. Concierge guys do a great job in assisting with parking and luggage.
- Checking out took a bit long, due to mistakes in the bill.
Robert Du chesne Very disappointing

+ Reception staff excellent, considering having to defend the hotels five star status. When I made complaint about the status they listened and were very courteous..
- Not a five star hotel.I went to have breakfast and no full cream milk, only skim mixture, when I requested full cream told we do not offer that.I could not believe that. The did not have proper air con,We stayed on level three, The carpets in the hallway were very shabby for a five star,ok if it were a three star. All in all very disappointing would not recommend.
Frances Toher I will stay at this hotel again

+ on arrival service and staff communication excellent
- We had to cut our stay short by one night and I found speaking to Karla on the phone prior to our visit to alert the hotel that we were only staying two nights a very negative experience.
Anonymous A bit disappointing, but pleasant!
6.4
+ The bed in the executive suite was very big and comfortable
- The exterior of the building looks more like social housing than a 5* hotel! I was disappoint by the 'marble bathroom' - it didn't look as grand as it sounded! Overall, I had a pleasant stay, but I wouldn't describe this hotel as luxurious. It could also benefit from luxurious rooms for couples!
EARLE WIGHTMAN BILDERBERG HOTEL VERY NICE.
7.8
+ good security aware staff
- checking whether rooms were ready to be serviced AND BETTER SERVICE AT BREAKFAST COULD BE BETTER WHEN MAIN SUPERVISOR WAS ON DAY OFF.

+ Great location, reception very helpful and knowledgable. Peaceful and relaxing. Thank you
- A little care and maintenance should be done on little things to keep the hotel upto a 5 star standard, ie TV loose on bracket, paintwork chipped, tired looking cushions.....
Diana Bouwkamp You can find better in amsterdam for less money

- Just a little far away from City centre -- but maybe I'm just lazy. The location would not put me off staying there again
Amit Dagan O.k. not more than that

Martin Iacovou Very Comfortable hotel with easy access to facilities.

+ Room looked as pictured on the site but smaller. Comfortable furniture.
- The air conditioning did not work. For the price, you would think the mini-bar would be included for the executive room

+ The hotel and the rooms are very comfortable.
- Young male concierge on arrival very unable to host me in: -asked credit card sweeping without saying why. -tlaked to other customers while i was waiting. -didnt tell me anything about room location and breakfast time. My room had an inside door comunicating with the room next to mine. The guy was snoring loudly but worse he was smoking spliff early in the morning....i was awaken from the smell of smoke. The cleaning lady came at 8.00 in the morning for cleaning and again at 9.30. Isnt there a red led on the door handle saying it is locked from inside?

+ Arrived very late in the evening without luggage which had been lost by the airline, hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful, they sorted us out everything we needed even a phone charger. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. This was our second visit to this hotel and certainly will not be our last.
- We had a problem with hot water in the shower but as soon as we mentioned it at the front desk they were on to it.

+ I found the hotel room to be very comfortable, clean, stylish rooms. The staff were polite and attentive. The room provided adequate Facilities.
- On this occasion i stayed on the second floor. It was better than being on the ground floor, as previously.I stayed in a room a little to close to the road and in view of pedestrians. This was a privacy issue for me.

+ Small business Hotel which was very well run. An excellent buffet breakfast provided in the Restaurant where the Staff were most courteous and extremely helpful. Cleaning staff were very good. Location is in a very good residential area with at least six very good quality Restaurants within short walking distance. We found two excellent Italian Restaurants close bye.
- Whilst our bedroom was well laid out and contained a very comfortable Kingsized bed, there was not really sufficient room for it. The Hotel may be located too far away from the tourist areas for some. We had dinner on our first night and whilst the Restaurant is very professionally run, we found the choice on the fixed menu to be restrictive in choice and more so as it did not change during our four day stay , and a little pricey, but that may be me being a little picky. Although we ordered a non-smoking area table for dinner, we were put amonst the (chain)smokers, which we found offensive, but that is fairly common im most places that we tried to eat and drink in Amsterdam(unfortunately).

+ Pleasant Staff. Most helpful and friendly head chef - who looked after my wife's gluten free diet at breakfast time. Comfortable beds. Food excellent at breakfast time. (we did not dine at other times as we were visiting relations nearby)
- Our Room 1005 was inadvertently not made up one day. (Sunday) Apologies received from Reception Staff.

+ Dut due to our hectic weekend schedule, we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. However, the room was spacious, contemporary and clean and the enormous bed (possibly the biggest one I've ever slept in) was very comfortable. Only a 10-15 minute stroll to the Museum district, the surroundings were pleasantly leafy with the onset of Autumn. I would definitely recommend the Bilderberg Garden Hotel to others visiting Amsterdam, who are looking for an upmarket hotel which is still fairly priced.

+ Clean room with American king size beds. Large bathroom. Fruit at night.
- The location is not in the Centrum, which for us was great because we have been to Amsterdam before and love the neighbourhood but some might not enjoy it.

+ Very nice hotel in a quiet area. Very comfortable bed!
- The room and the bathroom were a bit small for a five star hotel.

+ The atmosphere at Bilderberg Garden was really nice and warm. Breakfast was superb and many-sided. Absolulety delicious breakfast! Also the service in the restaurant was excellent. We could definately stay at Bilderberg Garden again.
- We had to re-activate our room key every day during our three-day-stay. But that is the only minus point I can mention.

- Check in time was at 3pm.
Charles Read

+ Reception staff Jeff was very helpful indeed. Credit to him.
- Couldn't get the TV to stay turned off. Even when pressing the power button, the TV would automatically turn itself back on again a few minutes later.

+ Hotel was very clean and extremely accomodating with wishes. Double rooms were exchanged for twins with no fuss immedietely. Restaurant is fantastic and worth a visit. Altogether a great hotel.
- Bit of a walk into the main area's but with the nice weather we experienced, it was not a problem, taxi's also plentiful if you don't wish to walk and it's a 5 minute journey.

+ We had an excellent stay at the Bilderberg. My Wife is extremely particular about her accomodations and she was very complimentary regarding every aspect of the Hotel. We look forward to visiting in the near future.

+ Friendly and helpful reception staff.
- Overcharged for breakfast. Had booked for reduced cost but this "could not be found" on the computer! Executive room cost extra but was just a normal hotel room. Very disappointing.

+ Location is great, quite, calm and serene. They hire bikes if you are on holiday and if you work at the WTC teh location is excellent. The rooms are always clean and a good temperature
- Room service was terrible, undercooked food, no salt or pepper on the tray and when I called to complain it was a feeble apology. I was given a wake up call that I didnt order - not appreciated and put in a smoking room without being asked

+ The furnishings of the hotel and the decor were very of a very high standard.
- The size of the executive room was very disappointing. It was more like a standard double room which meant it was not good value for money.
M.P.R. van Rooij

+ the personal approach of the staff of this hotel gets to me every time. They really give you the feeling that you are an appreciated guest and not just some passer-by.
- Unfortunately, again (!!), the airco was not working efficiently. I have experienced this before, it is simply too warm in the room. Combined with the fact that it is not possible to open a window in the "business" rooms.

+ Superb restaurant!
- Value for money - very expensive hotel for very standard accomodation.
Amanda Hurd
7.6
+ The reception area and the room were very attractively presented, and the decor was very contemporary. The staff were all very friendly. The hotel was well situated, out of the citiy centre so quiet, but conveniently located for transport and with two lovely shopping areas close by.
- The exterior of the hotel is not so attractive, although there is some building work going on at present to improve this. The room was very hot due to a problem with the air conditioning, and although this was partially resolved, it was still uncomfortably warm throughout our stay.
Wayne H Biessman

+ The entire staff was extremely courteous and went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. The restaurant is outstanding.
Anders Helsem
7.6
+ Breakfast very good. Nice atmosphare.
- Air condition in the room not working very well, air a bit heavy in the room i nighttime.
Elie Louzon
7.0
+ Very quiet , clean and in a beautiful area. very good and fast service.
- The promised airconditioning is not fully accomplished because you cannot set up the temperature in the room as you want. You cannot control the aircondition but only the ventilation volume. This was disapointing to me. The location was too far away from every basic thing we need ( stores, restorents, city centers etc.. room price and even breakfast price wery high and unjustified to my own judgement.
Birgitta Meurling
9.2
+ The hotel is located in a quiet area with beuatiful houses in the neighbourhood.
