Anonymous Comfy beds - really comfy beds
9.0
+ Awesomely comfortable beds, nice size room & friendly staff - oh & English tv!
- Bit of a walk from city centre - bit also good to walk off the food etc
Anonymous Good stay with some down-sides.
7.2
+ next to tram-stop, both to museum-quarter and central station. Free WiFi, works for mobile devices as well. Good shower.
- TV generated so much heat that the airco could not keep the room cool and opening the window is not an option because of the noise. Foam mattress.
Anonymous Great Hotel, great location!
10
+ the beds were awesome!!!!!! Fantastic location for using trams and getting around Amsterdam easily
Anonymous Pleasant stay
7.8
+ Good bed. Clean room.
- Although it was quite cold outside, it was very hot in the room, even with the window opened...
Anonymous A good hotel for exploring Amsterdam
8.0
+ The bed and pillows were good and there was lot of natural light in the room. The room was spacious as far as mid price European hotels go and the building had been recently renovated. The location is right next door to a police station which gives a feeling of security and there is convenient tram stop outside. Good places to eat and drink nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet with windows that opened!
- The guest computer in the hotel was not working for the entire week. On-line check in for the airport was nearly impossible as a result. Given how busy Scicpol is, this is unacceptable. The wi-fi had poor signal quality in the room. However, the wi-fi was free. If you don't mind working in the lobby/ bar the wi-fi is okay.
Bailey Girl Nice hotel, good value; easy access to city center sites
8.6
+ The Hotel Savoy is in the Pijp area--a bit out of the center, but we found that with the tram stop in front of the hotel, the center was easy access. For a 4 star hotel, we found the room comfortable, clean, with spaces to place our luggage, and a small desk to write. The hotel staff were very pleasant to us, and very helpful. Although we did not purchase the breakfast, it looked like very good value for 15 Euro. The hotel invited us to have coffee and tea at any time of the day. The hotel is near the Albert Cuyp Market, Fredrickplein, and Museumplein--all within easy walking distance. The 25 Tram takes you right to the hotel from Amsterdam Central so the trip to and from this part of the city is easy and comfortable. We thought that the hotel was good value, considering the prices of other 4 star hotels. Being away from the center has its definite advantages. There are wonderful Italian, Indonesian, Thai, and other restaurants that will save you Euros in the long run. Great bakeries and the Albert Hein right around the corners. We found a delightful Indonesian restaurant that was at least 5-15 Euros less than other restaurants we scoured on our 9-day stay in the Netherlands. So, staying here may save you money in the long run as it feels very local and the prices less of a shock than in the city. Very nice hotel, free wi-fi, and very accommodating when we needed to store our luggage before our return trip.
- Our road faced the road and was somewhat noisy at night. We were on the first floor and the internet did not always work. However, there was another free wi-fi (NetGear) which worked all the time in our room.

7.8
+ lots of great restaurants just down the street
Els Wabeke Good hotel for a fair price
8.2
+ 15 min walk from RAI, excellent beds

Jenny Syme Delightfull boutique hotel that offers outstanding service and value f
9.2
+ What a delightful boutique style hotel. The hotel room while small was beautifully appointed and presented. The service from the staff was attentative and welcoming. The array of items available for breakfast was extensive and delicious and the ambience of the restaurant was delightful as was the entrance lounge area for relaxing and having a drink.
- The cigarette butts dropped outside the room on the artifical grassed rooftop area were unsightly.

Anonymous Reasonable value for money - for Amsterdam standards
7.0
+ Clean and reasonable value for money, compared to Amsterdam standards. Close to RAI conference centre (but not to city centre), breakfast better than standard for Amsterdam (but not compared to same price category in Germany).
- Room was not ready when I arrived at 6pm, and staff at reception tried to give me an unacceptable replacement room. Otherwise, staff was friendly and helpful.
Rachel Linstead Not too close to Central Station, but worth the extra mileage
9.6
+ The adjustable beds were such a treat for us! We also loved the room's decor and the neighborhood of De Pijp. Most of all, the hotel staff went beyond the extra mile for us, helping us to recover a suitcase we left on the bus after a long day of travel.
- A little further from Central Station than would have been ideal, but the neighborhood was lovely and would really be worth it for those staying more than one night.
Ella Nice hotel for a short stay
7.8
+ walking distance from the RAI and some nice dining places nice breakfast room design good shower quiet rooms
- breakfast isn't really great- fruit is not fresh, good coffee and bread though... only old newspapers (if you travel on your own it is nice to have recent ones) personnel is not really friendly - not even a 'welcome' or 'enjoy your stay'...
Anonymous Excellent deal
9.4
+ free drinks!
Kenneth Shelley Modern rooms with free breakfast, snacks and drinks.
10
+ Breakfast comes with the room and there is a common room/lounge with free snacks and drinks (yes, including beer, wine and hard liquor)! Even the mini bar in the room is free.
- Rooms are a bit small compared to USA rooms but they are functional, have modern conveniences and are clean.
Marcela Torres Relaxing

+ all about this hotel,personal attencion.food.room etc
- The hotel seems so far ,but not ever, only in the nigth, when the people are tired
EILEEN LEECH A well run and an ideal place for a stay in Amsterdam!
10
+ Excellent service throughout and all staff very attentive to customers' needs. Operation manager does a super job; all inclusive nature a real plus point!
Nicky Small hotel with comfortable rooms, good for short stay.
6.2
+ The room are furnished very very well. Modern TV with DVD, comfortable beds and modern bathroom.
- Little bit louder air-conditioner. There are two rooms situated in basement with small window under the road. This is the main minus point. I have been expected some discount for this type of room.
Catherine Scott An excellent hotel
9.6
+ The hotel was very pleasant - clean, well-equipped and with friendly staff. The inclusive drinks and snacks were excellent
Kristina Askew Good value for money, clean, modern and good location
8.6
+ Great beds. Everything weas fresh and clean. Minio bar re-filled daily. Finger food in afternoon was more like snack food- peanuts, apples. Lovely breakfast. Jump on the number 25 tram straight to dam square in approximately 15-20 minutes. took 40 minutes to walk back from the hotel from city centre. Near to big park.
gina fm Ashford, UK Great contemporary, all inclusive hotel in beautiful De Pijp area.
9.2
+ Excellent price especially with breakfast and drinks included. Easy to find if driving into city. Comfy, contemporary and very clean rooms. Well sound-proofed. Even though we were facing onto the road/tram route - didn't hear a thing. Staff very attentive.
Kapa Nice
8.6
+ Good beds, free minibar, clean and friendly hotel.
- Breakfast was little bit of a disappointment.
Akikazu Dempoya Stay at Savoy
7.2
+ Free alcohol drinks. Free mini bar.
- Can not gain access to internet at basement room. Flying spray of water at show room.
Dayna Williamson Great idea the all inclusive.
8.4
+ All inclusive hotel was fantastic.
- No clock in the room. We almost missed breakfast.
Anonymous My friends at the Hilton were jealous of me !!
9.2
+ FREE INTERNET, FREE MINIBAR, Free DVDs, Rich breakfast, bed with electric control, three steps from tram, fully refurbished, friendly staff, close to RAI.
- It is a rather small hotel. Not the traditional 10-15 stories high tower you'd expect with a 4 star rating, but what they don't have in space, they make up for in the comfort, service and value.
Anonymous Plain basic hotel, good location to RAI, free WiFi, breakfast , drinks
7.4
+ Good location for convention center with complementary drinks and breakfast. The hotel also provided WiFi which was a key point for our business trip.
- It is a plain basic hotel with a decent location (for the RAI).
Albert M. Good choice for a quick business trip
9.8
+ The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was small (single bed) but pretty efficient and stylish. The WIFI worked pretty well with just a few slowdowns. Breakfast was fresh and quite adequate. Right next to a police station and close to the RAI ... seemed like a safe spot.
- Maybe the only minus point was that in my room the tab for the thermostat was broken off so I couldn't adjust the temperature. But it was fairly moderate weather in Amsterdam that week so it was not a problem.
Mario Van Poucke We 'll come back...
7.6
+ Everything included
- Location No car parking
Kevin Dandy Nice clean an smart hotel , friendly professional staff
9.4

- slight, smell comming from the drain in the bath room .
Lasse Problem with credit card
8.6
+ Free bar, near to the "city train"
- Problems paying with credit card. I had to pay with cash money. When I booked the rooms there was made a reservation of money on my credit card. It has goone over a week since I left the hotel and this reservation of 1020 Euro have not been taken away from my credit card so please do that.
elizabeth Excellent; recommend to friends

- Is not in the main canal area of Amsterdam but is well served by trams. Also some excellent restauarants nearby. The Albert Cypt Mkt is closeby.
Pinar Celebi Nice service at a reasonable price with a good location
8.4

- Except for the first two days, my room was not properly tidied up.
Aleksejs Sentuhovskis CFA Savoy

Anders and Kari Sjoelin Good hotel option

Anonymous Very content
9.0
+ all in formula: very pleasant to return to a nice open fire, a glass of wine and some fingerfood after a tiring day The room was spacious compared with other rooms we have had in Amsterdam and very comfortable. The locationm is very good : tramline 25 (although it takes some time ) will take you into the centre of Amsterdam but also to Museumplein and Concertgebouw.
- At night the room was somewhat hot. We lacked fresh air .
Wayne Blas By far the best hotel and deal in Amsterdam
10
+ This is an awesome hotel. An excellent location as it is not located in the direct center of Amsterdam. Very safe with a police station literally next door. It is extremely easy to get around with the tram station directly outside of the hotel. Free mini-bar.....come one, can't complain! Free breakfast in the morning and free coffee 24/7. Get the point....you won't be disappointed.
- None.
F. Goodwin Super stay at the Savoy

- Ariconditioning could not be switched off and was very loud
CALANGIU MARIA Very cozy and quiet hotel
9.4
+ Very cozy and quiet hotel, with all functionalities you need. Nice to have free drinks in the room all time and big TV. Tram 25 in front of the hotel makes easy the connection with Central Station and city center. Decent room size for A'dam, even for single. I will definitively stay here next time.

+ This is very nice hotel. Very comportable for business, families and all kind guests. Good mini bar. The service was good...
- The hotel has little bit expensive rates and distance to city center. The breakfast are good, but not strong enough.
Luis Armando Cortes Lopez
9.8
+ Great service! Excellent price/quality ratio. Rooms are confortable, all new and clean! Very recommendable.
- A bit far from centre, but real close of Museum. Not actually a minus.
Keith Scrivens
8.2
+ the all inclusive price was good and saved time.
- I thought, despite the all inclusive pricing, that the cost was perhaps 10 - 15 % too high.

10

9.6
+ The hotel was great, with the extras included in the cost of the room, it is good value for the price. We will come back, and we will tell our friends.
K
8.0
+ The free breakfast was good, as was the availability of hot beverages anytime during the day, and the free use of the minibar. Free wireless internet was also a plus. Great price compared to hotels with fewer features.
- The location is a bit outside the central part of the city, but there is a tram stop right across from the hotel. The rooms are VERY small.
Neil Stovall
8.6
+ Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable spacious room. All inclusive breakfast, bar and coffee service. Non-smoking policy.
- Lower score on location is not due to neighborhood in which hotel is located but rather not close to city centre. That said, I prefer your hotel for plus points. Separate issue: prefer queen/king size bed to single beds.
Karen E-B
10
+ Although at first I was disappointed that I couldn't reserve a room for one night closer to the city center, I found that transportation to the hotel from the train station and back was extremely convenient, with a tram stop right in front of the hotel. The neighborhood was much quieter and more pleasant than a city center location would have been and there was a rather discreet police station next door - no fears about being mugged! There were also several really nice restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was great - even though I had one of the smallest! I loved this hotel, would definitely go back, and would recommend it to others!
- The things that I thought would be minus points - location and room size, for instance, turned out not to be.
