Hotel Holiday Inn Amsterdam is located in the business district of Amsterdam, near the A10 ring road. Several train and subway stations are located nearby as well. This is the perfect location for business and leisure travellers. Within walking distance of the hotel you will find the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre. The WTC and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport are easy to reach as well. In the city centre you can discover numerous well known sights, such as the 'Dam', the 'Rijksmuseum', the Red Light District and the 'Van Gogh Museum'. It will only take you about 10 minutes to get to the centre by subway from Amsterdam RAI station.

The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a modem connection and a television amongst other things. All rooms are non-smoking and have two double beds or one king size bed. Sports enthusiasts can visit the mini-gym day and night. There is room service from 07:00 to 23:00 h. For all kinds of training essions and receptions there are conference rooms that are suitable for groups with a maximum of 450 guests.

On week days the extensive breakfast buffet is set up from 06:30 until 10:30 h and on the weekend from 06:30 until 11:30 h.
Enjoy a meal or a drink in Bar and Restaurant Vermont, which is located on a mezzanine (balcony). In this bar they serve dishes from all over the world. Vermont is open daily from 10:00 to 01:00 h. and from 11:00 h. on the weekend.

In simple words, I like the hotel and felt like i am in my home and will recommend people with family and couples . . . for business trip off course YES! :); - 1) Located not in city center but transport is not a problem with GVB public transport that works till midnight or 01:00 AM. 2) Flat screen TV was available but not free of charge that should be free of charges. I couldn't found even a single channel for free.

Kalin Boykov Blajev Good option for CFA exam takers: 14 December 2008; 8.8; + As a CFA exam taker, I found the hotel very convenient - just 15 min walking from the exam center. Nice rooms. Even with the additional charge for city taxes it was a good value for money. The metro (also rail way) station is just 5 min walking.; - Could not find the way to make the room a bit warmer. Paying for breakfast of eur 20 is a bit too much. (anyway, you can take something to eat on the railway station which is just 5 min away)

E' attaccato alla fermata RAI delle ferrovie e al capolinea della linea 4 del tram che in 10/15 min porta in stazione centrale (nel pieno centro della città). I mezzi pubblici funzionano benissimo. Vale la pena fare l'abbonamento di 3 giorni, facendo così si risparmiano molti soldi. Amsterdam, per molti prodotti, è un po' più conveniente di milano: l'unica differenza sono i mezzi pubblici che costano mooolto di più (ma funzionano perfettamente). L'Offerta "super saver" di questo hotel non include la colazione, ma in camera c'è comunque la macchina del caffè (solubile), the e biscotti. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Essendo io di Milano, quando ho visto la posizione dell'hotel rispetto alla città, ho pensato che il viaggio per raggiungere il centro sarebbe stato più lungo, invece amsterdam non è poi così grande. Dal mio punto di vista NON definirei la posizione dell'hotel come periferica. Non fatevi nessuno scrupolo a risparmiare alloggiando in questo hotel, sono soldi spesi più che bene. Vale più di quel che costa.

Abdullah AlAnizi: 16 July 2007; 7.6; + Location is good. Service is excellant.; - Poor Lobby, just couple of chairs. Business Center, is in the lobby. Gem is a small room in the ground floor. Price is high, the novotel hotel is just 10 meters away, and is bigger with better lobby and half the price.

The bathroom floor had old hairs in the corners, and the bathroom bin had not been emptied from the previous occupant. The bed cover was very worn and in urgent need of replacing. The mattress was indented on the left side nearest the reading light - i.e. where most previous occupants would have slept - so that needs replacing aswell.

They then told me to take a train instead. -My colleague lost his laptop from his room. It is suspected to be a maid who did this. Fortunately, a police could get it later. -I will not go to this hotel again!

H.G. de Haan Tevreden klant met een belangrijke klacht: 12 August 2009; 6.8; + Het was keurig en verzorgd. Goed bed, lekker geslapen. Geen geluidsoverlast door andere gasten. Geen doordringende geluiden van andere gasten.; - Over 1 zaak zijn we zeer ontevreden. Ik heb een roman in de kamer (602)laten liggen. Toen ik dezelfde dag terugkwam om het op te halen, bleek het boek weg. Er was schoon gemaakt en er waren nog geen nieuwe gasten in. Wat gebeurt er dan met voorwerpen die gasten laten liggen? Worden deze regelrecht in de vuinisbak gekiept? Dit is geen goede zaak! Gaarne verwachten we daar actie in. Het boek heet: Het huis van mijn moeder van Lynn Austin. Met deze reden heb ik bij service ee 5 gezet. Ik werd gewoon naar huis gestuurd zonder boek of schadevergoeding!

u2 fan Prima hotel om te overnachten: 22 July 2009; 7.6; + -goed bed -goede ligging van het hotel; - -te duur ontbijt -25 euro voor 1 dag parkeren is te duur.

Jordy: 6 July 2009; 8.4; + Zelden een bed gehad dat zo lekker ligt als deze. Wij kregen zelfs gratis een upgrade naar de Executive Room op de 15e etage (dit is de enige etage met balkon). Tevens zat er een whirlpool in het bad, waarmee je dus eigenlijk van alle luxe bent voorzien. De ligging is een eindje van het centrum af en via aanwijzingen van de OV-websites eigenlijk onbereikbaar zonder ver te lopen. Als je echter de tram/metro volgt naar de Amsterdam Rai dan is het nog geen 3 minuten lopen. Bus/tram/metro/taxi allemaal bij elkaar op nog geen 3 minuten lopen maakt ook de ligging dus ideaal.; - Ondanks dat het er allemaal op en top uitzag lag er toch een minieme vreemd rode plek in een hoekje onder de wastafel (je kon er niet per ongeluk op gaan staan, want daarvoor lag het te ver weg in een hoek, maar dit had niet gemogen). Ook lag er een uitgetrapte peuk op het balkon. Deze zag ik zelf in eerste instantie ook niet liggen. Dit zijn dan ook echt de enige 2 minpunten. Er kan altijd wel een kleinigheidje over het hoofd gezien worden dus daarom toch een 7 voor de hygiëne.
