Description

When you check in at the reception, you have a nice view of the Amstel river and the Allard Pierson Museum. For a day of shopping the location is also perfect: within walking distance you will find the indoor shopping center Magna Plaza, the flea market of the Waterlooplein and the nice boutiques of the 9 straatjes area. Restaurants and bars are concentrated around the Rembrandtplein, that is also within easy reach.

Amsterdam Central Station can be reached on foot in approximately 10 minutes, and several trams stop in front of the hotel. By tram and metro (from the Waterlooplein) you have a good connection to the RAI exhibition center and Zuid WTC station. In your hotel room you have a private shower and toilet. The reception is open day and night, so guests can get to their room at any time.

The beds were crap, the bathroom was tiny, and I honestly thought I was going to get mugged in my own room. It was fine if you were paying 50 euro a night for it, but anything more and it's a rip off.

Anonymous Hotel was nice but no elevator: 16 May 2011; 7.0; + Very friendly people at the reception desk.; - Nowhere is it said that there is no elevator and that the staircases are so steep. Not every customer can climb such stairs and on top of that also carry their suitcases. That was very bad.

Hugo Kijne Great location, minimal comfort, very noisy at night.: 25 August 2010; 6.6; + Great location, decent breakfast.; - The rooms are too small and have no phones and the TV in the room barely worked. Rooms are poorly ventilated and overheat easily on a sunny day. The environment is very noisy (streetcars and stret noises) and sleeping is impossible without earplugs.

Anonymous Hotel is niet aan te raden.: 24 October 2011; 3.4; + goede ligging goede matrassen; - badkamer bijna niet te gebruiken. de deur kan niet dicht als je je wast. toilet is onder de lavabo geplaatst. water is gevaarlijk warm en niet te regelen. geen wi-fi op de kamer mogelijk. alarm-systeem dat aanslaat zonder redenen. veel te duur voor wat je maar krijgt

Anonymous Nooit meer!: 5 August 2011; 3.2; + Ligging; - Alles, zeer verouderd hotel. Familiekamer was dubbel geboekt dus wij kregen twee aparte kamers. Hokken eigenlijk! Gaten in muren en vloeren, bedradingen met tape vastgeplakt! Gordijn viel zo van de rails, lampen die niet werkte. Totaal niets aan gedaan. Wij zullen dit hotel nooit aan iemand aanraden.

Grace Fulham Leuk hotel: 27 November 2010; 8.4; + Het is een gezellig hotel vlakbij de Kalverstraat en de Dam. We werden gastvrij ontvangen en de kamer zag er netjes uit. na het heerlijke ontbijt zijn we uitgecheckt en gelukkig was het geen probleem om onze koffers in de receptie achterlaten tot we naar huis gingen.

Jurgen H Niet aan te bevelen, men maakt misbruik van de ligging.: 23 October 2010; 3.8; + Ligging, je loopt de deur uit en bent in de Kalverstraat. Parkeerservice: je belt met "Hotelcar" en ze halen je auto voor de deur af en brengen hem terug op de plek die je zelf wenst, op het momnet je hem weer nodig hebt. Kost een fractie van de parkeertrieven in parkeergarages. Super oplossing!; - Oud, versleten, alles kapot en erg slecht onderhouden. TV werkte niet, stopkontakten hangen uit de muur, gaten in de lakens, nachtkastjes vies van sigaretten peuken, etc. etc. Familiekamer die gereserveerd was, was "niet beschikbaar omdat de badkamer kapot was". Ter compensatie 2 losse kamers aangeboden gekregen voor zelfde prijs. Dit was juist niet de bedoeling als je met 3 kinderen van 6 tot 13 een nachtje weg gaat. Ontbijt maar laten schieten. Stelde niet veel meer voor dan een paar sneetjes brood.

M Giovanni Gweldige locatie!: 25 August 2010; 8.4; + Locatie is werkelijk geweldig!! Personeel is vriendelijk en kamers zijn echt prima! ontbij was ook handig om even goed te eten voor je de stad in gaat! scheelt je weer geld! Alles was prima bereikbaar en op loopafstand!

J. Dockx Centraal gelegen knus hotelletje.: 8 July 2010; 8.0; + prima locatie om van alles te ondernemen ligt erg centraal. Mensen van het hotel zijn erg vriendelijk. schone badkamer en bed iedere dag schone handdoeken.; - kamers kunnen wel een likje verf gebruiken.
