Dutch Design Hotel Artemis Amsterdam

Great 4 Star Hotel, car parking, 20 minutes to City Centre.

• * my tip Good 4 star hotel, with underground car park, nice room very comfortable beds, in room safe and fridge, coffee tea inroom, even some English TV Channels. Ten minute walk to Tram and 20 minutes to Central Station and Dam square. Not happy with 10 Euros for 1 Hour late check out, can sit in my car for that.

Great Hotel just a 20 minutes by tram to Central Station.

• + Nice large room, very comfortable bed, great shower, fridge, safe, TV good, friendly and helpful staff, Car parking underneath.
• – A ten minute walk to tram stop.
• * my tip Hotel has Bar and Restaurant. Car Parking underneath.

• + Very comfortable hotel. Very good sound insulation.
• – On Sunday buses do not go to the airport, but there's no information.

Nice comfortable hotel with good public transport connections.

• + Very good hotel. Nice rooms with very comfortable beds. Close to public transport.
• – Not very clean (there is dust everywhere) and low water pressure in the shower.
• * my tip There is direct bus line number 195 from the airport Schiphol to the hotel.There is nothing interesting around the hotel, but you can buy one, two or three day tram ticket and get everywhere you like in Amsterdam.

A bit far from citycenter but still with good conections!

• + We got a 40% off deal (Deal of the Day), otherwise a bit expensive. Comfortable room with water heater and coffee/tea pouches.
• – Location far from city center but still with good conections, at daytime trams at night there is a night bus. We had to pay in advance at check-in. No bars or restaurants nearby. Expensive breakfast.

Fun hotel in an incredible city

• + It's a cool, funky hotel with spacious rooms.
• – The hotel is a bit off the beaten path from downtown, but still within walking distance of public transportation.
• * my tip Get a room with a water view if you can.

• + Friendly staff
• – Offer for breakfast Pressure in water system
• * my tip nice restaurant, silent place

• – €16 Breakfast is expensive. Pillows were not comfortable.
• * my tip Go to Chinatown and take a ride on the Grachten.

Was ok, but not more than ok.

• + Nice bedroom, nice bathroom
• – Why is breakfast not included? Why so expensive? € 19,00 p.p. Why is there a price difference in ordering breakfast at check-inn and ordering breakfast in the morning? Personal at counter was not very friendly. Free Wifi did not work (on I-Pad)

Disappointing stay in a 4 star hotel

• + Good breakfast
• – Terrible room, got a smoking room, no info on that when booking. Sofabed one of the worst beds I have ever slept in. No picture on the TV, only sound. Drain in tub/shower superslow. shameful that a 4 star hotel offers such a room. All in all a very disappointing stay. Based on this experience I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

modern, comfortable, affordable

great hotel, bad location

Nice and trendy but poor location if you want to be central...

• + NIce design and good comfortable beds
• – The booking agent informed us that the hotel was close to the city centre, which it was not, there was absolutely nothing around the hotel to do, it was in an industrial zone! We cancelled our booking for the next night and found a much nicer hotel in the centre.

Very nice hotel

• + Free internet! Can't live with it nowadays. Well equipped room.
• – Too expensive carpark.

High Confort

• + Excellent Room, the bed was amazingly confortable and large. The Hotel gets a fashion ("Design") style.
• – The location. Very far from the Centrum. You may walk for a while to find public transports. Not very friendly receptionists.

must stay hotel if stressy service and uncleanliness is acceptable

• – lousy hygiene, please clean rooms and especially bathrooms, service is extremely stressy when there are more clients

• + spacious rooms, nice hotel, great concept
• – bathrooms and rooms could be cleaner, it is not nice to find traces of previous visitors in the bathroom next to that the service in the restaurant could be a lot more friendly

fantastic hotel, great service, design is great

• + service, friendlyness of all staff, feeling of being welcomed, big parking, lovely environment and decoration, design exhibition, spacy and comfortable rooms
• – cleanliness of the room, bathroom was dirty: toilet, floor, mirrors, ... it was not cleaned, room was not cleaned,fingerprints and dust everywhere..., next to that some rooms smell due to smoking

Lovely clean, modern hotel with friendly staff & secure parking

• + Nice food, friendly staff, secure car park
• – food expensive, had to pay extra for car park, not in centre of Amsterdam!

No respect for privacy and bad service!

• + The space of the room and it LOOKING (but not being) classy.
• – They always bothered me during my stay! The first time I stayed there, the cleaner opened the door in the morning without warning. Then we hung out the 'Do Not Disturb' sign and he STILL opened the door twice after that! Mind you that this is when we were checking at that morning at noon, so they shouldn't be coming until after we check out anyways. I complained about this to the front desk. The seccond time, they still opened the door twice in the morning while I was checking out that same morning. At the front desk they said they would write it down, but he didn't. Also, the bell boy (whoever it was) was talking real loud to me, being rude, asking where I live and why I was going to my destination when I asked him to call me a taxi. Very, very, very rude! This is highly unacceptable. Also, the bath was not clean, and bless the restaurant for trying to have innovative food, but healthy low calorie food is not on there, and neither are normal meals. Many of their meals are not tasty anymore due to too much trying to be innovative. I ate there twice and normally I love everything. But come on, beer in my food? This is another minus point. There won't be a third time of me staying there! Also, the tv has only Ned 1, 2 and 3. Nobody watches that. sbs, veronica, net 5 is what people watch. But if you want to watch anything besides what they offer you have to pay and the volume of the tv is too low in both rooms i stayed to be able to hear much. So the tv is useless. The computer chair is way too hard, the room is very cold in design. I can go on and on... The service is just really bad.

• – Our experience in the restaurant was less than opitimal. The food was not great, and the service even less than that.

perfect city nice hotel

• + nice hotel great room....good food.service 10 but a bit exepensive..
• – we were unlucky couse we got a exepensive wekend in the city but for a cheaper price we ill go back to this hotel

• + Brand new building makes the hotel pleasant and comfortable.
• – Front desk staff are unhelpfull and I would just stop before saying :rude:. The system allowed me tobook this hotel at 11.00pm on sunday 13th from london. I put wrong date by mistake .Instead of 15th i put 14th departure.I was charged full amount for 2 rooms for no show for a mistake that i believe the system should not permitt, very dissapointed.
