The Dutch Design Hotel Artemis is situated on the western outskirts of Amsterdam. Schiphol Amsterdam Airport is only a stone's throw away and the city centre of Amsterdam can be easily reached as well. In the modern interior one can find several art objects and admire regularly changing exhibitions. The hotel offers a restaurant and fitness facilities.

Dutch Design Hotel Artemis Amsterdam is a contemporary and luxurious hotel on the western outskirts of Amsterdam. Schiphol Amsterdam Airport is easy to reach from the hotel, both by car and public transport. Guests can park their car at an additional charge in the parking garage underneath the hotel. Near the hotel there are a bus and a tram stop and within a 10-minute walking distance one can catch a subway from the stop Henk Sneevlietweg. The historic centre of Amsterdam is therefore easy to reach as well. Besides the beautiful canals one can find an abundance of shops, restaurants and museums here. At night the illuminated bridges lend this city a romantic atmosphere.

A modern Dutch style and a hospitable service characterize the hotel. The special use of lighting, colours and the flexible lay-out of the rooms and spaces create an atmosphere where guests will feel at ease. All throughout the building one can find objects of Dutch designers such as Piet Hein Eek and Marcel Wanders. The hotel also houses three surprising exhibitions, which are changed every month. For the organisation of presentations or meetings there are several multifunctional rooms available. The hotel has eight floors with comfortable rooms, which are equipped with amenities such as air conditioning, coffee- and tea making facilities and a safe. Free wireless internet is available for guests in the rooms. The use of the hotel's fitness facilities is also included during a stay.

Food and Drinks

From 06:30 to 10:30 h. guests can enjoy a breakfast in the hotel. During the weekend the breakfast is served from 07:00 to 11:00 h.
A perfect place to meet up is Restaurant-Bar De Stijl. In a stylish environment one can enjoy a light meal, which is prepared with Dutch ingredients. When the weather permits it is also possible to sit on the large outside terrace, which lies at a pond. The restaurant is open until 23:00h. After dinner one can visit the bar, which is open until 01:00 h. Snacks and drinks are served here. Hotel guests can also order room service 24 hours a day.

No respect for privacy and bad service!

The space of the room and it LOOKING (but not being) classy.

They always bothered me during my stay! The first time I stayed there, the cleaner opened the door in the morning without warning. Then we hung out the 'Do Not Disturb' sign and he STILL opened the door twice after that! Mind you that this is when we were checking at that morning at noon, so they shouldn't be coming until after we check out anyways. I complained about this to the front desk. The seccond time, they still opened the door twice in the morning while I was checking out that same morning. At the front desk they said they would write it down, but he didn't. Also, the bell boy (whoever it was) was talking real loud to me, being rude, asking where I live and why I was going to my destination when I asked him to call me a taxi. Very, very, very rude! This is highly unacceptable. Also, the bath was not clean, and bless the restaurant for trying to have innovative food, but healthy low calorie food is not on there, and neither are normal meals. Many of their meals are not tasty anymore due to too much trying to be innovative. I ate there twice and normally I love everything. But come on, beer in my food? This is another minus point. There won't be a third time of me staying there! Also, the tv has only Ned 1, 2 and 3. Nobody watches that. sbs, veronica, net 5 is what people watch. But if you want to watch anything besides what they offer you have to pay and the volume of the tv is too low in both rooms i stayed to be able to hear much. So the tv is useless. The computer chair is way too hard, the room is very cold in design. I can go on and on... The service is just really bad.

Brand new building makes the hotel pleasant and comfortable.

Front desk staff are unhelpfull and I would just stop before saying :rude:. The system allowed me tobook this hotel at 11.00pm on sunday 13th from london. I put wrong date by mistake .Instead of 15th i put 14th departure.I was charged full amount for 2 rooms for no show for a mistake that i believe the system should not permitt, very dissapointed.

Very nice modern hotel. We got a discount on the standard room rate which made the cost of our 2 night stay very reasonable.

A good half hour from the city centre and a long walk to the hotel from the nearest tram stop (particularly if carrying luggage!). In my opinion the standard room rates are overpriced, as is the breakfast which is not included in the room rate.

Staff were exceptionally gracious and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The room I had offered a fine view of the city (not all rooms do). Very welcoming. Older building that was in good repair and nicely renovated. Though a ways from central station, close to main attractions in Utrecht.

Bed was uncomfortable; no adequate place to do desk work or chair with reading light for pleasure reading. Bathroom a bit small.

Parkgebühren von 16,20€ / 24 h fanden wir sehr hoch. Aber die Parkgebühren in der Stadt waren auch nicht gerade günstig. Am ersten Tag als wir ankamen konnte der Mann an der Rezeption kein deutsch sprechen.

Ein sehr ruhiges Hotel, ein wenig abseits von der Innenstadt, die aber perfekt mit dem Bus zu erreichen ist, der vor der Tür vom hotel alle Halbe Stunde Abfährt. Wer gut zu Fuss ist erreicht die Innenstadt auch in ner halben Stunde zu Fuss. Wer mit dem Auto anreisst kann kostengünstig in der Hoteleigenen Tiefgarage Parken.

Es richt ein wenig muffig in den Zimmergängen.

Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Sehr modernes, schönes Hotel. Super nettes Personal (die meisten). Etwas außerhalb, aber ohne Probleme mit Bus, Metro und Tram zu erreichen (Tagesticket gilt für 24 Stunden und kostet etwa 6Euro).

Zu teures Frühstück. Nur einen deutschen Sender im TV.

De verwachting was hoog, maar hotel valt zwaar tegen

mooi design, maar sfeerloos ingericht.

geen laden lossen, wilde alleen tas boven zetten en moesten toch perse eerst in de parkeergarage gaan staan. Wel 4 parkeerplaatsen voor touringcars(?) Parkeergarage moet worden betaald, terwijl het hotel op industrieterrein ligt(midden centrum dan snappen we dat wel)Van de 235 kamers, maar 12 roken. Kamer(Executive Kamer Queen)te klein en ongezellig ingericht. TV heeft alleen 1,2,3 en paar buitenlandse zenders, belachelijk ouderwets!Genoeg personeel maar niemand helpt. Bij het uitchecken moet je dus aansluiten in een rij van 20 minuten..In het Restaurant waren op zaterdag 2 tafels bezet en nog werden we pas na een kwartier geholpen. Niets vegetarisch te vinden bij de hoofdgerechten. Kortom Dutch Design hotel zou deze commentaren eens door moeten lezen en ervan leren.

ruime kamer, comfortabel ingericht. Uitstekend verzorgd ontbijt

in de badkamer functioneerde de koude kraan niet goed en liep het bad zeer langzaam leeg. In het bed zat een ligkuil aan beide zijden. In de kamer waarin wij zaten moesten wij het linker gordijn gesloten houden omdat we anders de vouwen in het bed van de gasten om de hoek konden zien.

Probeer iets vriendelijker en behulpzamer voor de klant tezijn.

Dit Hotel ligt voor onze beroeps halve prima. Wij moeten bij het konfectie centrum zijn en dat ligt op 5min van het hotel af "super".

Het personeel is niet al te vriendelijk vooral bij de receptie kunnen ze nog wat leren. Wij werken in een warenhuis inhet zuiden van het land en daar gaan we iets vriendelijker met de klanten om. En als er een probleem kunnen zij je niet helpen en doen ook niet de moeite om het op te lossen en d vind ik erg jammer .

Goede prijs. Ook het ontbijt is niet te duur. Schoon. Vriendelijk personeel. Extra fee voor roomservice is goedkoper dan elders. De kaart is alleen wat beperkt. Verder vond ik het fijn dat er een waterkoker, een kluis en een strijkplank aanwezig waren.

Het gratis internet deed het alleen in de lobby, niet op de kamer. Verder is het jammer dat er geen sauna bij de fitness is. Ik zou daar wel meer voor willen betalen. Muziek en tv- keuze is wat beperkt.

Badkamer vloer stond blank naar het douchen, douche scherm sluit niet goed af. Receptie en overig personeel erg aardig. De ligging was handig, wij hebben het daarom uitgezocht. Parkeer gelegenheid ook prima. Leuk dat er hier en daar van kunst te genieten viel.

Vloer van de kamer mag wat meer stof vrij zijn. Een bad had ook prettig geweest. Ik vond de bedden wel maar mijn partner vond de bedden niet zo prettig.

Mooi hotel met ruime kamers.

Vrouwelijke manager stond alleen open voor verandering van de boeking als er meer geld werd betaald, terwijl er een actie op de boeking stond! Helemaal niet klantvriendelijk! De rest van het personeel wel. Voor mensen zonder auto is dit erg moeilijk bereikbaar. Bus komt maar 1 keer in het half uur!
