Hotel CC Amsterdam

Well-located but cramped and rather sterile

• + Location is perfect. Staff is friendly. Everything is clean
• – This is a travelers hotel in Amsterdam, which means that you get the bare minimum of overything you need, including space. If the bed was one inch less wide I would have fallen off. A little too sterile of an atmosphere for a higher price ranged three star hotel

Stay here if you wan't to be in the middle of everything.

• + In the middle of the city - right in the Red Light District. Terrific view over the water. Nice interior
• – Small room.
• * my tip Stay here if you wan't to be in the middle of everything. When you walk out of the door, you find yourself as centered as possible. 30 seconds from the first red lamp and 5 steps from the nearest coffeeshop...

Facilities good, price good.....wallet stolen! :-(

• + Great location. Tidy rooms.
• – Had my wallet stolen from my room. Luckily I only left about €15 of change in it.

Good stay, all rooms are not equal

• + Great location, good customer service, comfortable bed and wonderful bathrooms. Best shower and bath of my time in Europe.
• – Be careful on the "staircase" in the 2 story rooms, it's more like a ladder.
• * my tip Some rooms face the canal and are much louder than those on the inside of the building.

• + Fantastic location. Clean room with nice decor and lovely exposed beams. Kettle in the room - great! We would definitely recommend this hotel.
• – A bit noisy because the room was overlooking a bustling street, but this is Amsterdam - we expected it to be. Might be a little bit small for others but we found it fine.

Good option in the center of Amsterdam.

• + Nice location close to Centraal Station and within walking distance of most attractions in the the heart of Amsterdam. I wanted a hotel quite close to the station because I wanted to take the train for some day trips to other cities. Nice clean rooms and clean bathroom.
• – The room was a bit on the small side, but considering the location I think this is unavoidable. The shower (annoyingly) has no shower door so water tends to get everywhere.

Amsterdam a lo grande

• + El personal ha sido muy atento y nos facilito mucho la estancia.el microondas para calentar la comida de los niños fue vital. Y el acceso a internet gratuito en lugar de pagar por conectarme al wifi. El baño muy espacioso
• – Las escaleras para llegar al ultimo piso con el carrito, los niños y las maletas. No había armarios para dejar la ropa.seria interesante que hubiera la opción de desayuno en el hotel.

• + I love the location, walking distance. in the Red Light District. The service counter where nice people. Good service.
• – a little tight for the restroom, sink on lap when needed to go. But, for a USA resident, these times are hard for us. Best price, but still expensive for me. For longer stay, I can't afford it. Otherwise, I love Amsterdam for it's friendly people.

Pleasant stay in the heart of Amsterdam!!

• + Hotel is in a good location the rooms all seem to be newly decorated and have everything u need
• – Had a bit of a struggle with the door locking mechanism seemed half broke but reception reassured me it was ok but it took 3swipes of the card before the door opened

Nice hotel, very central, good and clean rooms but a bit more pricey

• + - Very friendly service at the front desk, although limited Dutch speaking staff (not a problem for me but maybe for others) - Very nice and clean room, decent size for an Amsterdam hotel in this area. Also a plus goes to the very comfortable beds and great shower too. - Great and very central location, with added tourist value. Easy access and not too expensively priced food and drinks at front desk
• – - Not really a minus, but the price is a bit at the higher end. Not really for the budget traveler. - This might just be a fluke event for us but I had to mention it, the firealarm went off at 4 am, which pretty much made us jump out our beds and we had to go to front desk just to hear it was a false alarm because someone took a too hot of a shower! Might want to tone down that fire alarm a tiny bit. - Located near the stairs is a bit annoying when people walk or stumble up or downstairs, although this is very common in Dutch houses/hotels of this kind.

Great location, superb service...I definitely recommend this place

• + Close to the train station, plenty of restaurants, great friendly front desk team. Always helpful. Modern interior facilities. A postcard view onto the canal. No noise, quiet single room.
• – "Standard single room" a bit too small. Thanks goodness, I am slim and fit. Toilet and sink poorly designed. Hard to maneuver around. What can I say I am an Interior Designer...I see these things. Too bad no breakfast package otherwise it would have been perfect.
