A little gem in the heart of Amsterdam.
Safe and quiet location yet still in the very centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I have no negatives. If you have trouble with stairs then ask for a low floor or don t stay here. They are steep
*my tipGo to the dungeons.

nicley located Hotel. walking distance to most attractions.
Very nice staff. Very genuine. Gave good advice and offered up to stow our luggage on the last stay, would stay again.
*my tiptry to stay on the lower levels as stairs are steep.
small but charming!
People working here are very kind. The location is perfect, in the "heart" of the city.
Rooms very small, but it's normal in Amsterdam...
Small but comfortable hotel, very close to the center. Clean rooms and tasty breakfast! Recommented for a cheap accommodation.
I would not recommend this hotel.
The location was great.
The room was minute. It was not possible to close the toilet door if one was in the toilet. The furniture was the shabbist I have even seen in a hotel. The view was the back wall of another building. The heating/ventilation from that building made a constant loud noise. I wouldn't have minded if this hotel hadn't previously had good reviews. Not sure what the other rooms were like but I find the reviews Ive read hard to believe. This is what I would expect from a hostel nt a hotel.
Fantastic experience in Amsterdam
it located right next to singel canal, view is fantastic. and its only 5-10mins walk to dam square or other tourist attractions. but dont expect too much for the room, just typical amsterdam style with the spiral stairs, but i reckon its good value for money in europe
Friendly, helpfull and clean.
Very good friendly service. Nice view of the canal. Close to Dam Square and the Hop on Hop off bus route. Very clean.
The stairs were steep but not a problem for me, but they might be for older people or people with children, but assistance is always on hand if you need it.
We will stay again
Very nice and helpful staff. Location was excellent and the surroundings very inviting. Good value for money, compared to other accommodation in Amsterdam.

Great staff - great location - rooms need updating
The staff is incredibly helpful. The location is superb - close to Dam Square and lots of trams. Good shower.
The room was cramped and looked cheap. It also had ants, and with no airconditioning, it was stuffy. The breakfast was meager.
Very nice little motel near Dam Square and Red light District
Very nice staff, very helpful. Everything is clean and in good working order. Quite and a nice canal view.
Very small bathroom but clean. No air conditioning so it gets very hot and muggy on warm days,
Thank you for a short romantic holiday.
Very good location: quiet place near the central station and city centre.
Stairs -- not for disabled or older people.
Welcoming, clean, comfortable...the place to stay.
Very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Staff couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. Excellent information given re excursions and sights. Highly recommended.
Good and well located hotel
Very good breakfast! excellent location, worm, quiet, very nice staff
A place not to go
Price is way too high for a poor quality;
don't go there !!
Nice budget hotel
great location , quiet but next to the center .
very good price comparing to the other hotels of the area
too many stairs , small rooms , tiny toilet ,difficult to wash yourself after 'the hard job'
Quaint hotel centrally located beside a canal.
Central location yet quiet. With a great canal view.
wifi didnt work for me. TV was too high up to watch comfortably.
