Inner Amsterdam

Good value, great location. Appearance of entrance needs work.

• + Great location behind the Concertgebouw. Room was clean ---
• – but tight-- you had to close the bathroom door to pass the foot of the bed. Lobby and elevator could be cleaner.

Very high price for bad quality..

The service at the hotel was good, however I won't visit again.

• + The service was grea and friendly. A huge plus was that we could leave our luggage while we explored.
• – I wouldn't consider the hotel value for money. Although the room was clean, overall the hotel was scruffy in parts and could have done with refurbishment.

More fresh air

• + Quiet nights, cleen, small but sufficient breacfest, nice and quiet neiberhood.
• – Main problem, espetialy in worm days - the hotel face the South, rooms are very dry and does not have sufficient ventilation.

Great budget hotel!

• + The hotel was really clean and the rooms were a reasonable size for the money. TVs in the rooms were new and the bathrooms were clean and modern. The staff were absolutely excellent - their helpfulness really made the trip easy.
• – Strange smell in the reception area!

Wellkept , quiet and secure place to stay without unnecessary restrict

• + friendly people at the service desk, nutritious breakfast, quiete at night, daily new towls
• – the bathroom was not cleaned during the 5 days of stay

Good location,but not a good value

• + Good location. Easy to get to from Airport.
• – They gave us a room on the 5th floor with windows that did not open! It was extremely hot and stuffy. Fire door outside our room was really loud and woke me up a bunch during the night.

Not too expensive... for A'dam.

Bare Bones but Great Location

• + This hotel is perfect for those seeking basic accomodations and fantastic location. You are smack in the middle of the museum district and with in walking distance to the Van Gogh and The Rijks and many others not to mention being less than a minutes walk to the tram line that will take you directly to the city centre. The breakfast was included with our rooms which of course was the standard european breakfast cold cuts, bread, jams, spreads, juice, milk, coffee and tea. Just what you need to get out the door quick.
• – A bit warm in the summer due to no air conditioning but one of our rooms did have a fan which was a blessing

• + it satisfies the bare minimum one expects from a 2 star hotel, clean bed, warm water, hairdryer, TV, complete breakfast, good location, 24 hours reception
• – very small rooms, windows cannot be closed perfectly therefore cold is coming in, noise coming in from corridor

• + Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value - nice rooms for budget price. Clean bathrooms. Walking distance to museums, restaurants, shops etc.
• – Drains were a bit smelly (but staff immediately moved us to better room).

Clean, cheap-ish, comfortable, a bit out of the main areas of town

• + Cheap-ish and cheerful. Friendly service from 24 hour reception. Clean. Towels & bedding included. No security in the room if you are sharing with others. Right by Vondelpark and Van Gogh museum. Easy to get to on the trams (2 or 5) from Central Station. Free internet access.
• – Swinging doors banging constantly at the end of the corridor. Breakfast was a bit dull. A little bit of a walk out of the main town.

a nice quiet place to stay,not far from the museum area

• – every day the same select of breakfast,it is ok,when you stay 1-2 days,then it seems fade

• + very good location, guiet neiborhood, the breakfast is a plus, good price-quality, for a twin room it was a big room
• – the walls are paper thin, we stayed for a week and noone came to clean.

Well located cheap hotel

Tom had a good time!

• + The clerks were very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast offered good variety. I heard that it was noisey from the internet comments, but I slept very well. I want to return!
• – A little more variety in the bar would be nice.

Reasonably good hotel.

• + Hotel is located in Central place. Hotel is kept clean. The staff is cooperative. Breakfast is good and included in the price of the room.
• – Rooms are little small. In some rooms remote is not available with the TV.

Value for money

• + The room was pretty, though tiny. Hair dryer gave an extra plus. Amazingly quiet even though the walls were paper thin. People were very considerate.
• – TV-screen was grainy. Coffee machine gave the drink drop by drop by drop...

It is good for a weekend trip, but not longer.

• + The breakfast was better, what I waited.
• – Somebode knocked on the door at 10.00 am, that we have to go soon. We had than 1 hour, and I didn`t understand, why have to remind us 1 hour earlier. The room was to small for 4 person, and for 4 person package. We couldn`t put anywhere our dresses.

Inner hotel

• + Location ! Near the Vondelpark. The breakfast was OK.
• – The room was very very small for 4 people and it smelled very bad.

Good hotel for a decent price

• + The hotel was very good with very nice rooms. You could see that it was recently renovated, the furniture was new. Also the service was on a level with the price, and as additional bonus the breakfast was excellent.
• – Location of the hotel was a small problem. It is not located in the center zone of the Amsterdam, but you could get to the center using tram or bus (20 min ride).
