Hotel Plantage is located in the eastern part of Amsterdam-Centre, across from the Artis Zoo and 'Tropenmuseum'. Such attractions as the 'Hortus' botanical garden and the 'Scheepvaartmuseum'(maritime history) are also nearby. The small-scale hotel offers budget friendly rooms.
Amsterdam has a compact city centre, which houses numerous museums, shops, and night life venues. Most of the tourist sights are within walking distance of each other. - Easy for people who want to stay near the Portuguese Synogue. still regular keys, no problems for shabbat with light,doors etc. Just bring a shabbat belt, it is outside of the eruv.

- The location of the hotel is excellent for the main attractions in Amsterdam and is almost opposite the zoo.
- We stayed in the small attic room on the top floor, room 34. The room looks like it has recently been renovated, which at first sight is good however the plumbing in the tiny bathroom has not been done properly. The room constantly smells of toilet waste as it sits in the pipes. It was unbearable.

- if u embarrassed the hotel,can u see that all the guests stoppage the air,because it was a terrible stink there.our room was very dirty.there was fingernails on my bedstand.the equipment was very very old and fractional walled up because broken.for example, lightswitch, icebox(with an other hotelname of the front)...terrible! i will never book this hotel again.

- Voor de volle prijs NIET doen
- Op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden. Vanaf het hotel naar verst verwijderde punt= centraal station is ongeveer drie kwartier lopen.
Vriendelijke, behulpzame meneer achter de receptie.
- Het bed, toilet en douche waren schoon. De rest had in dagen/weken geen stofdoek en/of sopdoek gezien. De grijze vitrage is ooit eens wit geweest. De overgordijnen konden niet dicht omdat ze gedeeltelijk van de rail waren gelopen. Het water in de douchebak liep maar heeeel langzaam weg. Gezien alle gebreken voor onze last-minuteprijs van 59 euro een redelijke prijs maar veel te duur voor de oorspronkelijke prijs van 180 euro.

- goede verhouding prijs/kwaliteit, uitstekende service
- ondanks het gegeven dat we de kamer om 11 uur moesten verlaten, mocht toch onze auto in de parkeergarage blijven staan die dag.
vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel

- RUSTIG HOTEL, soepele ontvangst. Garage is goed beveiligd en niet overdreven duur voor in amsterdam te zijn. als je je auto op een veilige plaats wilt zetten is dit een goed adres.
- inkom is moeilijk, smalle trap. ontbijt kan pas om 8.45 a 9 uur. Dit was voor ons iets te laat omdat wij een drukke agenda hadden. Ontbijt was heel goed verzorgt en zeker voor de prijs van 8.50€

- Niet duur, mooie ligging bij Waterlooplein, ruime kamer.
- vorige bewoner van kamer leek geblowed te hebben. 20 minuten inchecken omdat computer niet meehielp, kamer en interieur zijn van evenredige kwaliteit aan de goedkopere prijs.

- alle basiselementen zijn aanwezig: eigen douche,toilet etc. Dag en Nacht is het hotel in/uit te gaan en de receptionist is een vriendelijke heer.
- hyiene kan stukken beter, parkeerplaats is versus prijs kamer (E20 vs E52,50) niet in verhouding. Er wordt aangegeven dat er internet is, echter geldt slechts voor de stand-alone PC op de overloop. In de nabije omgeving is niet direct een goed restaurant of quick-food te vinden (kan aan mijn eigen orientatie liggen)
