Hotel Plantage lies within walking distance from Artis Zoo, 'Tropenmuseum', 'Scheepvaartmuseum', 'Hermitage' and the 'Verzetsmuseum' (about the Dutch resistance in World War II). The public transportation links are fast and frequent, which makes the Museumplein, Rembrandtplein and Leidseplein easy to reach. In the centre there are many historic buildings and nice shops.

- The hotel has two parking spots in the underground secure garage at 1,1 km from the hotel for the price of Euro 25,00 per place per day. Check in and checkout time is the same as for the guest room. Guest should go first to the hotel to check in and pick up the garage remote control.

- Children till the age of 12 years can stay for free in the parents' room, if they make use of the existing bedding. An additional bed for children can be placed in the room on request, the surcharge is 100% of per person room rate.
