A lovely small hotel with character and friendly service

None really, but other travellers may want want to consider these points My room was at the front of the hotel and there was some noise from traffic outside, (when the window was open) but this did not bother me personally. Also the stairs are quite steep, which may be a problem for people with infirmities. However, the staff are quite happy to help you with your luggage.

A well-run hotel with a family atosphere
A very friendly place with an atmosphere resembling a B&B, but with all the advantages of a well-run hotel. Breakfast is a good deal for the price and the location is superb for museums and Concertgebouw with easy access by streetcar to the city center.
Even though the double window cut out a lot of the traffic sound, I was glad I brought my ear plugs! Be sure to ask for a room at the back when you make your reservation.
Great Stay for a good value
Awesome helpfull staff - they are just great and make the Zandbergen a real nice place to stay.
Rooms facing the street can be more noisy due to street traffic
*my tipGetting around by bicycle is the best way to explore.
For a low-end stay
Uncomfortable bed, old furniture, small TV screen
Great value for money and first visit to Amsterdam
Location, everything we needed in the room
1 mouse in my room:woke me up,because it climed into my sootcase
