- It would be very convenient if yo could access the hotel with your card and no need to depend on somebody for you to open the main door to the lobby

- expensive wi-fi underground room for breakfast while comfortable and neat with its light wood decoration is a little bit disappointing if you like to see day light at your first meal

+ We moved to a superior room and it was extremely comfortable with a large window overlooking a leafy green street scene. Good chairs and light for reading and great shower. Location was great -one block from tram, near 3 best museums, and a lovely neighborhood with shops and restaurants nearby.

- It cost 13 euros per day for wifi which I think is outrageous and the only reason I would consider not staying there next time I am in Amsterdam.

+ The staff were so courteous and service so personalized you had the bed and breakfast experience in a hotel. Room was very comfortable, beautifully appointed and immaculate. The location perfect for touring anywhere we wanted on foot or by bike which we did for a day. Restaurant recommendations were perfect. The local experience while not overly expensive.

- There were none. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and would have loved to stay longer. Amsterdam was a wonderful surprise to us in every way.

+ The location is quiet, very close to the museum district, luxury shops, and public transportation. Staff were accommodating and the hotel was very clean.

- Internet access is very expensive. The television was very small and outdated (not a flat screen). There was no dresser and not a lot of storage space.

+ This is a great hotel located in a quiet area of Amsterdam just blocks from the Van Gogh Museum and one block from the fashion center. Trams are just a few blocks away. The hotel had really incredible staff, very informative and helpful. The bathroom in our room was beautiful, beds comfortable. We liked it so much we returned to stay here again after our 10 day tour.

+ Good hotel that offers quality at a reasonable price. Great location; quiet and safe street; close to restaurants and upscale fashion shops.

- The room was a little cold (but tolerable). No shelves in the shower for soap/shampoo. I don't understand why some hotels charge for internet access, when it costs them almost nothing.

+ Fantastic service. The front desk, concierge, everyone was more than helpful and very friendly. Place was very clean, modern style. Located in the fashion district, great for shopping, close to the tram lines.

- Rooms are very small, what you see in the pictures is the whole room, nothing more.

+ Execellent location, beautiful hotel, proffesional and helpful staff. will stay again. Minus points aren't a biggy, but just a slight niggle.

- Room could have been slightly bigger and I felt cleaners came a bit early if I forgot to put the do not disturb signs out.

+ Staff was very friendly/helpful. Room was large, comfortable. Chocolates on pillow at night, turn down service. Very very good location--two blocks to museums. Charming building. Close to tram service.

- Early check-in involved an upgrade to a larger room at 35-50 euros. Seemed to be a standard offer, happened each day we were there. Very expensive even without upgrade.

+ great location - quiet neighboorhood next to the Rijksmuseum and transportations. Leidseplein within walking distance. great breakfast buffet. everyone very kind.

- the door's always closed, you have to ring the bell to enter - quick in the morning, it may be a little longer in the late night hours. breakfast price is a little high, but not that much higher than having breakfast in some bar outside. anyways, both of them, no big deals at all.

+ Very clean rooms with great service from the staff. Location is exclellent for walking and seeing the city.

- Internet not in rooms and expensive. Television outdated and the cost of room with a bath tub is way to expensive.

+ Sraff - Very Helpful. Went out of their way to help with parking for disabled guests/ Warned us we would probably get towed(!) unless we visited a local counxil officw to figure it out! Great thing is they provided the free map with directions to the local office! OK - took an hour out of day, but at the possible cost of our spening money to pay for parking. Will definately stay with them again and would search for them above all others for a great stay in the world's top city. Thanks all........

+ The staff were very friendly and helpful. Checkin and checkout were easy. The location is perfect. Breakfast was very good. The beds were comfortable, and the curtains really blocked out the light, so it was easy to sleep.

- The room was small for the price, but we know that Amsterdam is a very expensive city. It would be nice to have some hair conditioner along with the shampoo in the bathroom. Also, you should add a second bar of soap for the bathtub. At the price we paid, there should be two bars of soap.

+ This was a beautiful, clean room. We loved the apples everyday. We had plenty of room for three people in the bigger room you recommended. The hotel location was perfect for visiting the museums.

- Although the quilt was lovely, it was a little too warm for this time of the year (September). We would have liked to have a sheet or lighter blanket on the bed.

+ The staff on the front desk were really friendly and helpful. The location for the hotel is perfect. The rooms were small, however they were perfectly clean and very well equipped. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family

- The only minus point is that on the day we were checking out a member of staff knocked on our door before 9am and woke us up, yet we didn't need to check out until 12 noon.

+ The staff for the Bilderberg were not only profesional, but warm and friendly, a most welcomed feeling for a single traveler. My purpose for the stay in Amsterdam and at the Bilderberg in paricular, was to scout a perfect location to bring groups traveling to see the museums of Amsterdam. The location was perfect for a walking tour.

+ Since returning home, I have suggested that people travel to Amsterdam and stay at your hotel. It was definitely our best hotel experience in Europe on this trip. I plan to return again.
