Wonderful hotel!

• + Clean hotel, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, orchids everywhere!:)

• + Nice 3-day discount, very good location to explore Museumplein
• – Internet connection broke down every 5 minutes or so, not reliable for anything besides checking e-mail.

• + Fine and clean hotel, i was in room whit 3 beds everything was fine and clean. Breakfast was good quality.perfect hotel for stay in Amsterdam

• + Location, breakfast, price, a very clean place
• – was quite cold in the room, but maybe I'm colder.
• * my tip Visit Heineken Experience, Anne Frank House, walk in all Amsterdam. But don't do this thing in winter, because it is very cold. And watch out to bicycles because there are everywhere.

Good value, but some room for improvement

• + Clean, generally. Very good sized room for Americans... Quiet but very near centrum. Great windows, lotsmof light in room. This is uncharacteristic for Dutch hotels. Very secure. Modern design in room. Nice tv in rm.
• – Weak on breakfast, quality and selection were low. The manager needs a break (someone to cover for him so he can get some time off). His stress comes thru to the guests. Detail: our garbage was never emptied during our 6 night stay. Over sensitive to noise (management). Some low quality furniture (crazy useless part of coffee table). No true common areas. Hallway had cleaning supplies cart in it..
• * my tip Excellent price for the money. Easy walk to Leidseplein and centrum locations.

Great location great transport.

• * my tip Brilliant transport from schiphol airport via bus 197, cheap fast and only 1 block to walk with luggage. By far the best way to transit into town for 4 euro.

• + Very good location, good breakfast with great coffee..
• – Receptionist/Owner was very cold, a little rude, the elevator was broken and we were on the 4th floor. very steep stairs..Hot water wasn't working and internet was slow.
• * my tip Spend time with the cat.and Vondelpark is nearby. Beautiful

• – Access to second floor hotel room by staircase only. Elevator only went to third or fourth floors. Otherwise, hotel was pleasant and convenient for museums and city centre.

• + It was very very clean and the breakfast was very good. The staff were do nice ANC friendly
• – For the price of room, it was very very small and the bed was very uncomfortable.
• * my tip Ask for bigger room when you reserve it. And renovated room.

A very nice reasonably priced hotel in a good location.

• – You will be charged 4% if you pay with a credit card. To avoid this charge, you must pay in cash.

Lovely, quiet and conveniently located

• + My small room was colorful, beautiful and sparklingly clean. Proprietor was very helpful. As a female traveling alone, I felt very safe here.

Rude service

• + The room was very clean and nice.
• – The most rude, unfriendly and disrespectful front office we have ever met. They did not even try to make us feel welcome, rather the opposite. Very short, curt answers; unclear, almost hostile communication.

A pleasant stay

excellent budget hotel

• + quiet location not far from the Voldelpark and the Leidseplein area; separate entrance that gives guests maximum independence; good continental breakfast
• – my room (35) was very tiny

Nice little hotel in a pretty good location

• + The hotel was very modern and well appointed. We even got a bathroom down the hall room to save some money and had no issues. It was also in a good location for actually getting sleep as it was very quiet, and still close enough to central Amsterdam to walk/tram in with ease. Easy walking distance to all the Leidseplein clubs/bars.
• – Not the friendliest staff. They seemed to not really want us there. If I had to guess, I'd say it was likely because we were 2 American guys and they assumed we would cause trouble. They were also extremely adamant about no pot/cigarette smoking in the hotel. It wasn't the rule that bothered me. I get that they don't want the smell or whatever. It was just the signs and the reminders everywhere. Hall, room, elevator, and they made you read a thing on it as well at check-in. A bit irritating.

Good place for a short stay

• + Very well located. Easy access to tram, bus and taxi. Many restaurants close. Very clean, staff people was nice. Very attractions close, rijksmuseum, van gogh museum, heineken brewery.
• – Very small room, stairs very hard to use with heavy, bulky luggage.

• – POR PONER ALGO NEGATIVO, LA ESCALERA QUE LLEVA AL PRIMER Y SEGUNDO PISO CASI VERTICAL, ESCALONES MUY ESTRECHOS. NO APTA PARA MAYORES. NO HABIA AIRE ACONDICIONADO.

• – stairs could be difficult for people with a lot of luggage

• + Very little price for a quality which is high in camparison with other budgetary alternatives in the city (breakfast, city tax and private taoilet+shower were included in a 65-euro-per-night solution).
• – On of the two persons (the owner?) was a bit rude, and seemed very little helpful. The other one was far better and partially made up with that.

An OK hotel

Breakfast ending at 9.30am is very unreasonable in major tourist City.
