Hotel de Lantaerne has a main building and annexe which are only a few meters apart. One is located at the canal at number 111 and the other at number 117. The hotel has 28 colourful rooms, most have views of the canal. The rooms are allocated to availability. All rooms have a private bathroom and a television.
Hotel de Lantaerne is located a 100-metre walk from the Leidseplein and the Holland Casino. The beautiful Vondelpark, the museum district with the impressive Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum and the fun shops of Amsterdam can easily be reached on foot. At one minutes walk from the hotel is a bus stop.

The Max Euwe Square has a live chess board and the Spiegelkwartier quarter nice antique shops, both are only a short walk from the hotel. Amsterdam is a wonderful city to explore by walking along the beautiful canals. The Anne Frank house in the cosy Jordaan is just a short walk from the hotel. Dam Square, the Kalverstraat shopping street and the Waterlooplein are easily reached on foot.
