Hotel Mozart is also the perfect base for guests that prefer to go shopping or to go on a canal cruise.

Anonymous Great find- good hotel at fantastic location.
8.4
+ Fantastic location, you can reach the entire city center on foot or by tram. Received a fantastic rate in busy holiday period. Room was basic but perfect - clean, and everything you need works and is in good shape. Will definitely come back.
- None. This is not the Grand, but you get what you pay for and this hotel offers great value.
Anonymous Cool place to live in Amsterdam Central
7.6
+ Very Central
Anonymous Honestly not amaized from the hotel.
3.8
+ Hotel's staff took money in advance before arriving. When we arrived they asked us to pay again and on top of all they did a mistake. We paid 15% more the second time. Then when we noticed they took money twice, we had a long discussion about that and we were told that this was a small mistake! How fair ... The last day they cancelled one of the payments and gave us the correct amount of money. Rooms are way too small ... there is no place for luggage or clothes or whatever. ( I do not know if they have to follow any standarts, but they seem not to)!
- Furniture was broken and we were locked outside the room for an hour as the locker broke. People smoke weed in the hotel as it smells awful even in the rooms. Not the cleanest hotel - saw the staff picking up napkins from the floor and putting them on the table for breakfast. Seems we were not the only one who wanted to speak to the manager, because I saw a gentleman arguing with the staff and asking for the manager. Hope hotel's staff will take note from this feedback.
Anonymous Very unlikely to return, unless they could show more flexibility

+ LOCATION
- Elevator not working. We were on 4th floor and were not offered assistance with bags. Elevator only worked for a short while during whole stay. Coffe was included breakfast. I wanted another coffee at breakfast 4 minutes past 10. I was asked to pay for the coffee as breakfast was till 10.00

+ Nice location. Easy to find. Central for most of the cultural attractions. Close to convenient tram stop for central Amsterdam.
Paul Simons Family Friendly, Great Location.
8.6
+ Location was excellent, close to restaurants and nightlife. Big room for 3 people (compared to others stayed in on the same holiday).
- very soft mattressses.
Anonymous Decent hotel
8.2
+ Good location, clean, quiet, wireless internet
- little too clean... didn't need/want new towels every day and couldn't seem to get on a "no service" list
Richard Johnson If your looking for a good nights sleep don't stay here.
5.4
+ Clean bathrooms, and good pillows
- The reception was not very friendly, seem like I was interrupting her TV time. Wasn't very helpfull either, when asked about canal tours all I got was a grunt and she pointed towards the brochures. Don't pay extra for the lousy breakfast , there are much better places to eat around the corner and for less money. Beware as well that if you go to bed early you will be awaken by loud drunk kids returning from the bars at 4am.
Stephanie Kosova Very friendly personal, not very nice rooms in underground floor
6.2
+ Very friendly and helpful personal
- Very poor and depresive rooms in -1 floor ( cellar)
Anonymous Budget accommodation in a good location
7.4
+ The price was fair, providing that accommodation in the city is really expensive. Good location and friendly staff (although they are not experienced). I liked the cute painting in my room and the free wi-fi.
- The towels and the sheets are a bit old, but they are clean.

+ all fantastic!the hotel is center and nearby the nightlife. all is perect and the personal very friendly. i recommend this hotel in Amsterdam. The hotel has lift, it´´s not very usual in Amsterdam. :D
David Mason Great location, small rooms but comfy beds.
6.8
+ This hotel is in a great location for bars and restaurants. There is also a beautiful park nearby for a quiet stroll. The local trams are clean, efficient and frequent. The beds are comfy and there is free wifi.
- The rooms can be small and stuffy, unless you pay extra for a room with a canal view. The lighting is very dim. Although this hotel includes a continental breakfast I would have liked a toaster.
Jim Great location shame about the hotel
6.8
+ Great location & having a canal view was absolutely superb.
- For the price I expected to get a fairly good breakfast but the same poor food every morning, not even a yoghurt. Having to eat in the reception area on crowded closley packed tables doesn't help either. The decor was very shabby
Julia Zvereva Great location for a pleasant stay and sightseeng
7.8
+ Great location, friendly and helpful stuff, taxi to the airport organized by hotel, breakfast included.
- No shuttle or taxi from airport to hotel, no shelfs and very small wardrobe, no cover on the toilet: towels placed above fall down.
Marko Good location, no comfort
5.8
+ location
- extremly small rooms, no shampoo in the room
Hans Thomas Offer Andersen Bad and small
3.2
+ nothing,
- very small room, when you look out of the window you look down in a dark shaft. You cound´t place your trunk, and the bed was 1,20 m wide. No place at all. We didn´t use the room and ask for a refound of two days out of three. we got nothing.
Remondi Cristina An holiday on Mozart's notes!
7.6
+ The staff is very kind. The position is wonderful. Rooms canal view are very nice.
- The first room we got was at the -1 floor and was little, dirty and quite smelling, but the staff has been very nice changing our room the second day, with a 20 € days difference for a canal view room. For breakfast there is nothing sweet to eat, for Italian and French tourist there shouldbe croissant or muffin or biscuits!!!
Christopher Dean
4.8
+ There was a BATH in the room .
- Room 505 was in urgent need of redecoration , and the bathroom door in urgent need of repair ( it had relatively recently been forced 0 .
Gunnar Eggertsson Not worth the low price
6.2
+ Very near the city center and I got the room for a good price.
- The heat and air in the room was so bad that I can say with out a doubt that it was the worsed night of my life and I'm sorry to say that I will never book a room there again. Also I had to park my car outside the city as there was no parking for the hotel, only a very expensive parking garage at the next corner.
Ibn Batuta
6.6
+ Location, Room with a nice view on the Prinsengracht canal
- No double beds, a big drawback, although I precised that when I made the reservation. Really expensive (but hotels in Amsterdam are quite expensive).
Monica Lemsal
6.4
+ Very good location.
- The twin room that I requested was in fact a small room with a double bed in the corner against the wall with no possibility to separate the beds. The price of the room varied too widely on a supply/ demand basis rising to €185 when the ash cloud closed schipol. Rather too out for themselves.
Henry Grim
4.0
+ Doesn't smell mouldy. Better than the Hotel Max which is really disgustingly grim. Location. Free wi-fi.
- Pulling the credit card scam of making you use their exchange rate. 1950s decor (old, yellowing etc). Very narrow single beds that they laughingly describe as Twins. Small rooms. Thin walls.
Anonymous Beetje jammer
6.8
+ The beds were nice, very soft. Breakfast was simple, but fine. Good location to explore Amsterdam.
- No view, defective lights in room and bathroom, the bar of the shower curtain fell down, generally small and uncomfortable space. Too expensive overall.
CHRISTOS SKLAVOS
7.0
+ IT WAS IN WALK WAY FROM ALL THE SIGHT-SEEING. FOR ITS PRICE IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH.
- TWIN BED (NO DOUBLE)
Yves BARONNET Ok
7.8
+ Location Lift Nice staff
- Tiny single room, alright for short stays. Room walls & floor a bit stained
Ana Blazic Pavlovic Nice and clean
8.4
+ Clean and quiet, nice lacation, pleasant hotel stuff
- Mattress is too soft
Mark Sutton Nice budget hotel in good location
8.0
+ For the location and price of this hotel we would recommend it to others. It's a small, clean hotel with all the facilities you need for a city trip and is close to the tram lines and some great restaurants!
- A plus for some maybe but we found the hotel very warm! But at least we could rectify this by turning off the heating and opening the windows which you can't do in other hotels! It also has the potential to be very noisy so bring earplugs!
Nicholas Dearden Very small for the price
5.4
+ Very good location - right in the middle of everything but set on a quiet canal. And a TV.
- Very small room. Tiny. Small single bed. And for this I think very expensive - tho the conversion rate is very bad for me at the moment.
Eduard Lagemann Affordable and well located
7.4
+ location price
- breakfast very simple room and bathroom small
Anonymous Lovely room without a view.
7.6
+ Good size room & bathroom, comfortable bed and good breakfast.
- Avoid room 1 if you can, window looks onto the back of the reception and there is little or no natural light.
Eduardo Cerqueira Nice stand!
8.8
+ It's well located and clean. Nice crew.
- The room is small but I don't know big rooms in Amsterdan.
Miroslav Nikolov Very High Price and Low Quality in General
4.8
+ location
- small rooms
lisa MEGRATH Great hotel on the outskirts but still plenty to do
9.4
+ Quiet at the hotel but just round the corner is all the restaurants, bars etc, and only a tram ride to central station. Can walk to dam square.
Anonymous Absurdly small rooms
4.2
+ Great location
- The smallest room possibly imaginable. We booked a triple room, and I'm pretty sure my friend could have kicked my head from the location of her bed. We are three females, small in size, and I knocked my elbows so many times while in the shower and bathroom, it was absurd. There was barely room in there for the 3 beds, not to mention our luggage. Yes, the price is relatively inexpensive, but I know you can get a larger room at the same price.
Mohammad Khawaja A Nice Small Hotel where cleaning could be much better.
6.4
+ Great Location. Nice and helpful Staff. A decent breakfast.
- The toiletries and cleaning could be much better managed.
Dorrette Campbell Cleaner than most 5 stars
9.4
+ Very very clean, suits the purpose of vacationing, sleep and leave to go walk about. Good area for eating and clubbing.
- None!
adam alexander No ventilation - small room - non caring staff
5.2
+ Location
- small room - couldn't fit suitcase anywhere,; no ventilation.
Stephanie Un faux 3 étoiles !!!
4.4
Joanne Woodhead A room with a view
8.2
+ A room with a view, what more could we want. Pleasant stay, enjoyed our breakfast. A nice hot shower.
Anonymous A CORRECT HOTEL IN EXCELLENT LOCATION
7.4
+ THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS EXCELLENT, NEAR MUSEUMS AND CENTER TOWN, AND AT THE SAME TIME IN A VERY QUIET AND NICE STREET. EVERYTHING IS CLEAN. I DO NOT NEED MORE.
- THE BREAKFAST ROOM WAS NOT VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE PRODUCTS OFFERED WERE LESS VARIED THAN IN OTHER SIMILAR HOTELS. ACCEPTABLE, ANYWAY.
Joanne Woodhead Great location, enjoyable stay
8.2
+ great location
Rhea Jarvis Good Basic Lovely Stay
7.8
+ Beautiful view from room window of the canels, coffee shop a few houses away (30 secs walk) lots of shops, amazing shoes, had a lift, and very very comfy pillows! well worth the money!
- breakfast was plain but had a virity of cerial, (crunchy nut ect.)and bread, cheese the usual. can't smoke, staff didn't talk very much but polite! overall great stay!
Ozkan Aksoy OK
6.6
+ Location was the best.
- The room was the smallest one I have ever been around the world.
Roger Horswill Value with limitations
6.6
+ The location was super and the canal view room was well worth the added money as the interior rooms are very dark. Front desk personal were very helpful and were there 24 hours.
- Furnishings very poor quailty, older IKEA, etc. Room was not cleaned one day. Also asked twice for a light bulb in the bath to be changed and it never was. Breakfast should be served a little longer as sometimes hard to make it by 10 am. It was OK for the money, just do not expect luxury.
DANIEL SÁNCHEZ HERNÁNDEZ Good hotel
6.8
+ Location Service
- Comfort, noises. At breakfast it was no site for all the people, we must wait twenty minutes.
Anonymous Very central, friendly and clean hotel
8.8
+ Friendly staff, very clean, very good location
- small rooms
