We could walk every where by food.; the hotel is very old and I'm sure it used to be a nice hotel. But they haven't renovated for years. The buthroom was dusty and with mold. The mattress was so soft, that I really suffer under back pain and Im a young person. The walls are so thin that you have the feeling people wo walk by are walking through your room. I've alrady stayed in NH hotels wich I loved, but this is defenitly not the standard I expected.

It really was in central Amsterdam, close to the shopping and close to the canals. It was also right next to a tram stop which was handy.; The service at the hotel was quite poor and disorganised. When we arrived we had to wait a while to check-in, and even then, we were told that we could not have a room yet as none of them were ready (at midday) and would have to wait another 3hrs. The rooms were extremely small and the facilities in each room were very basic (nothing more than a small bottle of shampoo & some soap). This is definitely not a four-star hotel!
