THEY DO SMOKING ROOMS :) last heven in europe for smokers. staff are fantastic, very helpfull

although the rooms are for smokers, they should leave the windows open between guests, we left it open for the afternoon and it freshend it up a treat.

Gutes Frühstück, unbedingt mitbuchen.

Obschon nicht wirklich alt, sollte das Hotel renouviert werden, -zumindest professionel gereinigt werden. Nicht die "Ausblickseite" zum Kanal/Straße nehmen; die ist nicht nur teurer, sondern richtig laut. Die Fenster isolieren schlecht. "Hotelleben" gibt es nicht, fast ausschließlich Schlafstätte für die Mädels der asiatischen Fluglinien. Keine Garage! Extrem schlecht, wenn man mit dem Auto kommt. Als Deutscher hat es da sofort ne Kralle ;-( ...Die Bilder der Zimmer zeigen die Luxuszimmer. Normale Zimmer viel kleiner und nichts besonderes. Maximal 3 Sterne nach deutscher Einteilung, leider keine "sauberen".

Have been staying at this hotel for 8 yrs. Very disappointed in hotel. Reservation process was terrible. Several phone calls to hotel directly to confirm res.. Had 2 different occasions early in a.m. another guest tried to open room door. Breakfast is overpriced for quality also no other options. 88 euro for internet access is not acceptable for a advertised 4 star hotel. Do not think I will be staying there again. I do business in Amsterdam 4 to 5 times a year and have always stayed at your hotel. Felt as if I paid for a 4 star hotel and received 2 star quality. I will also be making this post on all Amsterdam travel /review sites.

The breakfast buffet is MUCH too expensive, especially for what is offered. You might consider offering a downscaled continental breakfast option --- juice, croissant (for example), coffee or tea --- for a third the price.

on the first afternoon the hairdryer short circuited, whilst in use. the following day the room wasn't cleaned when we phoned to complain and get fresh towels, the request took over one hour to be complied with and after that the standard never recovered

Ekstremely nice room for a family. Very good service at the breakfast buffet and also a very well selected breakfast buffet. Wonderful quiet area but close to restaurants and museums anyway. Easy to find from the highway. A suggestion: Inform the Amsterdam Tourist Information that the hotel has family rooms. Appearantly they are not aware of that.

Would have been preferable with some better parking facilities and especially with more children relevant service - for instance regarding play grounds and Amsterdam sights for children. The hotel should recommend the resto's in the near neighbour hood instead of those around the very touristic Leidseplein. A suggestion: Why doesn't the hotel provide bike renting directly from the hotel?

My reservation got lost - but I managed to get a room. The reservation was changed by my company two days prior to arrival. Also I ordered breakfast in the room since the breakfast open to late for me. But the order I put on the door knob was not picked up - so I was to late out of the hotel. My questions by phone were answered very courteously and with great knowledge about the city etc. The staff at the reception desk was wonderful and very helpful throughout the stay. El servicio fue exelente, muy buena ubicación del hotel. Al llegar temprano sin tener que solicitarlo nos dieron una atención de primera facilitandonos la habitación en unos 10 minutos eso nos fue muy grato dado lo estropeado del viage. A pesar del idioma la comunicación y asistencia (concier) fue opurtuna fluida y muy amable.

En el baño tienen una tarjeta undicando el sistema de ahorro de agua, con lo cual soy solidario, el personal de camaristas no conoce o tiene entrenamiento al respecto que que aun cuando dejo las toallas colgadas para reusarles las camaristas las cambiaban aun cuando les hice referencia a als tarjeta de ahora de agua.

Location is great! In a quiet neighborhood on one of Amsterdam's many canals, it's close enough to walk to the city center, but far enough away to escape the noisy bustle of the city and enjoy a quiet evening. Fancy weight room, coin laundry facilities, and a hearty breakfast menu were many of the perks. Spacious room and nice view as well. Highly recommend!
