Nicht die "Ausblickseite" zum Kanal/Straße nehmen; die ist nicht nur teurer, sondern richtig laut. Die Fenster isolieren schlecht. "Hotelleben" gibt es nicht, fast ausschließlich Schlafstätte für die Mädels der asiatischen Fluglinien. Keine Garage! Extrem schlecht, wenn man mit dem Auto kommt. Als Deutscher hat es da sofort ne Kralle ;-( ...Die Bilder der Zimmer zeigen die Luxuszimmer. Normale Zimmer viel kleiner und nichts besonderes. Maximal 3 Sterne nach deutscher Einteilung, leider keine "sauberen".

Reservation process was terrible. Several phone calls to hotel directly to confirm res.. Had 2 different occasions early in a.m. another guest tried to open room door. Breakfast is overpriced for quality also no other options. 88 euro for internet access is not acceptable for a advertised 4 star hotel. Do not think I will be staying there again. I do business in Amsterdam 4 to 5 times a year and have always stayed at your hotel. Felt as if I paid for a 4 star hotel and received 2 star quality. I will also be making this post on all Amsterdam travel /review sites.

Wonderful quiet area but close to restaurants and museums anyway. Easy to find from the highway. A suggestion: Inform the Amsterdam Tourist Information that the hotel has family rooms. Appearantly they are not aware of that.; - Would have been preferable with some better parking facilities and especially with more children relevant service - for instance regarding play grounds and Amsterdam sights for children. The hotel should recommend the resto's in the near neighbour hood instead of those around the very touristic Leidseplein. A suggestion: Why doesn't the hotel provide bike renting directly from the hotel?

Also I ordered breakfast in the room since the breakfast open to late for me. But the order I put on the door knob was not picked up - so I was to late out of the hotel. There was also an error on the bill - but it was corrected.

My questions by phone were answered very courteously and with great knowledge about the city etc. The staff at the reception desk was wonderful and very helpful throughout the stay. I would warmly reccomend the hotel to friends and family.

In a quiet neighborhood on one of Amsterdam's many canals, it's close enough to walk to the city center, but far enough away to escape the noisy bustle of the city and enjoy a quiet evening. Fancy weight room, coin laundry facilities, and a hearty breakfast menu were many of the perks. Spacious room and nice view as well. Highly recommend!

Anonymous Clean, confortable and well located but the internet services should b: 6 September 2011; 8.6; + This hotel is very well located in the Museum Quarter. The rooms are large, clean and confortable and some are with an interesting view, facing the canal.; - The decoration could be refreshed. Nice paintings in the hall, a very large hall with windows viewing the canal, but the decoration inside the rooms could be renewed. The internet connection in the room is expensive. No free WI-FI in the rooms, although it is a free service in many other hotels in Amsterdam. The free WI-FI in the lobby is for a 30 minutes period at a time, with a code. After that period you may continue but with another code. NOT VERY PRACTICLE!
