Choose this place!

Breakfast was tasty and complete. Usually you get the classic one, but here you can have several meals. Tea is free day and night, and you can choose different flavors. Location is awesome, is nearby Dam square, a supermarket and a mall.

Internet connection was quite slow but free though.

Well located family friendly hotel

Very good location in walking distance from most places of interest. Breakfast was good with all tastes catered for and the staff kept the dishes well stocked. Even though the hotel was full it was very quiet at night.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Clean and secure in convenient area

Clean and secure. Quiet area only a couple blocks from Dam Square. Interior rooms are quiet. Breakfast is filling with good, standard items. Safe in room was handy. Value was good for the off-season rates.

A little too much furniture for the size of the room. Available wireless T-mobile internet was relatively expensive, but allowed multiple, short connection periods.

Enough of everything.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The place has a nice feel to it.The room was very quiet at night and I slept well.The room was great - very large fridge and proper table to eat at.The shower was a good size and the water pressure good though the hot/cold was erratic.

The breakfast was disappointing to me because i arrived when there was no scrambled egg on both mornings - it had run out and was not replaced quickly.The whole hotel is a little to warm. it definitely needs to consider getting air con, although there was an effective fan for sleeping at night.

The staff at Nova Hotel were extremely friendly and helpful when we had questions about visiting sites. The location is also perfect for visiting all the main sites in Amsterdam - we were just a few steps from major shopping streets and on the tram line - it really was perfect. The staff was also very helpful in fixing a problem we had with our bathroom drain - it was fixed immediately after we asked.

The only tiny, minor complaint we had is that the shower smelled awful. Not sure if it had to do with the drain, the walls, or simply the aged plumbing in the city.

The hotel was clean and the staff seemed attentive. The beds were comfortable and the rooms more than adequate for a budget traveler. Yes, I would stay there again provided that I am not given a street level room.

I stayed there two nights. The first night, I was given room 101 which is a street level room. The noise from the street made my stay less than ideal. I recommend rooms above and away fromt he street.
