- Nice hotel, not in the city centre but not too far
- The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful
- It is not too far away from the city centre but it is a bit of a treck, especially in cold weather

- A little off-key
- A private room rather at nearly a hostel price was good, as well as a small fridge and a large window. (Not all rooms are equipped with the same window)
- No customer service, linens were questionably clean and I found several things missing in my room; after looking for them for an hour I gave up and left only to have room service hand me my license without a word while I waited for the elevator; bizarre sketchy and not cool.

- a good hotel
- I think Omega is a quite good hotel for the money. I had a very convenient room on the ground floor with the direct exit to a cosy small garden and stable wi-fi connection. The staff was friendly and adequate. The breakfasts were tasty. The hotel has a beautiful interior and is located in a pleasant district.
- Maybe the only minus point for me was that the location was at a certain distance from the city center. However, from some other point of view this may look like a plus. You get a feel of real Amsterdam, not only tourist attractions.
Besides, the 4% charge for using a banking card does not look logical to me.

- Cheap, good quality hotel.
- This was is a very good hotel. I got a budget double room for €69 a night. The room was a decent size, with a large comfortable double bed, TV, en-suite bathroom with shower and air conditioning. The price includes breakfast which is very tasty. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
- The only bad point is there was no WiFi in my room, but I was able to use the WiFi for free in the lobby.

- Good, but no free wifi
- Good service. Good breakfast
- Although advertised, the internet is NOT free. You can buy a day of internet for 5 euros. But we had a room on the top floor without reception anyway.

- - Location: near tram; not in the busy centre but not too much outside
- Beds: beds were very good!
- Breakfast: breakfast was okay.
- - Location: hotel was in front of a church, we could hear the bells ring in the morning.
- Staff: most of them couldn't speak Dutch, which i find very strange. The cleaners were very unfriendly and were very pissed when we were not leaving, but only getting breakfast.
In general: i expected a lot more for 100€/night. I think the hotel is very uninviting. It all looked very old(fashioned) and there were cracks in the wall. For this price, you probably could get a better room (allthough the roomprices in Amsterdam are very high in general).

- Wonderful hotel by Vondelpark.
- Great Breakfasts. The room facing the back are very quiet, save the birds singing in the morning. Rooms have a very small fridge to keep drinks cold. The hotel has a great location vis-a-vis the major museums but, if you want lots of action, look for hotels closer to the centrum. Its about a 40 minute walk directly to the central station. Hotel staff and polite and efficient.
Good location to cycle out of town from. Very close to Vondelpark. I would definitely stay again.
- Internet access is good but difficult in the upper rooms. The upper rooms got quite hot over night and I expect would be cold in the winter. Not too much choice for restaurants in the immediate area though it is only 10 minutes to a much broader choice.

- Service must improve.
- Breakfast was good compared to other establishments in Amsterdam.
- At the time we arrived, the person was on the 'phone for at least 15 minutes before he attended to us. Your website does not warn prospective tenants about additional 4% charge if paid by credit card. At the time of payment one evening, the person behind the counter was more interested in the soccer on the TV than attending to me. When I questioned the 4%, he was reude and said it is not his concern. He had recently started working there.

- Location was superb in quiet street near to museums and away from the city centre. Tram number 2 stopped nearby with a good service to the centre. Buffet breakfast was excellent.
- Room much smaller than that shown on website. Double bed was a single base with shelves fixed to wall to widen out. Room very tight for two people. Stairs were very steep, so be careful (but there was a lift). Some noise from rear garden at night.

- Staff were mostly friendly and helpful, the hotel itself was clean and reasonably priced.
- Unfortunately we had a bug problem in one of the rooms and when relocated to another room, it had the same problem! also we were moved from a twin to a very small double. Staff were extremely helpful and quick to deal with the problem, but it did impact our stay.

- I had a large room facing the back of the building, so I barely noticed the bells of the church across the street that chimed on the hour. The room was quiet, comfortable and convenient, staff were friendly and helpful, and I would definitely stay there again.
- The floor of the shower stall was slippery -- watch out! The room was advertised as having a minibar. Normally that means a small fridge stocked with food/drink items. There was a small fridge, but it was empty. The breakfast crowd on Monday morning overwhelmed the staff, who could not keep up with replenishing food and clearing tables. On other mornings there was no problem and breakfast was good.

- Our room was not ready when we arrived, I believe that our reservation had been lost. We were given a room right next to the front desk, which was very noisy. We were given the wrong code to use the internet. We requested a wake-up call and did not get one and had to rush to the airport.

- I like the bed it was very comfortable and the breakfast was just right for the hotel price. The room is a bit small but still comfortable. The bathroom is clean and the shower is nice. I like the location because it's quiet, a walking distance to Van Gogh museum and Rijks museum only less than 10 mins and approximately 15 mins walking distance to Leidseplein. I would recommend this hotel to everyone especially to those who are in a travel budget.

Breakfast was filling and available at 7am.
- Do not compare this hotel to a 4 Star hotel in London, Paris or Hong Kong; but it is clean and comfortable.
Note that payment of the bill by credit card incurs a Euros 5 charge.

- Firstly, one must realize that Hotels in AMS are expensive. Secondly, hotels in Europe are not like hotles in USA. You get much more for your money in USA. BUT, this was a nice hotel for the price. Excellent location. Breakfast was VERY GOOD and was ready at 7 am (1/2 hour early). Room was clean, but insist on A/C if its summer.
- I booked an A/C room with a double bed, but when I got to the room it was not cleaned yet, it had 2 small beds, and no A/C. I walked out, down to the desk, and made my stand. The lady at the counter did remedy the situation and gave me a room as booked. From there it was a great stay.

- The room was quite clean.
- The aircondiioning in my room was broken, and the time that I was staying in Amsterdam was EXTREMELY hot. The window would only open a crack and it was very uncomfortable to try to sleep at night and staying in my room during the day was impossible. When I told the manager on-duty he refused to correct the situation, nor to even take a look. He was quite impolite in fact.
