+ Very comfortable room and facilities. The gym was wonderful, as were the bed and bath.

- Two particular female front desk staff (one during the day, one on night duty) were extremely rude and unhelpful. We felt they were so rude it was almost deliberate, in addition to the night duty receptionist claiming that our room number did not exist when we asked for a simple jug of milk. This definitely needs to be looked at and changed at the Park Hotel.

- Room was very noisy (single glazing facing the street) and did not meet the description as advertised ("open space without interior walls" --> room 436). No action was taken upon my complaint "as the hotel was fully booked".

+ Enjoyed the location and comfortable bed. The restaurant was delicious as well.

- The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed at times and weren't the most helpful in acquiring tickets/reservations/etc.

+ The entire staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel location is great -- within easy walking distance of the museum district, Vondel Park, many restaurants, shopping, and public transportation.

- On the day of our arrival, after we had checked in to a room with a nice view, the elevator broke down and we were moved to another room that was inferior. We should have been moved to either a comparable room or an upgraded room. There were no drawers for clothing, so we had to live out of our suitcases. The bed was way too soft for comfortable sleep.

+ Great location. Situated in an area popular with bars and restaurants. Upon our arrival we were upgraded to a high standard room, very luxiourious and enjoyed our stay! W Will be back soon!

+ A very stylish, modern hotel. Good location and easy to get by car from the motorway's. Good transport links to get in to city center. Food and Momo restaurant attached where also very good. Would recommend.

- Rooms wern't exactly big and shower drain gave off funny smell.

+ Very quiet despite ovelooking a tram track. My room was very well soundproffed. Never heard the other guests.

- They could change the bed linens a little more often. Breakfast and Internet access are overpriced.

+ I spent two nice in a room at the 7th floor that was realy nice with nice view.

- The first night I was placed in a small room at the second floor. The room wasn't spatious and the window was blocked.

+ Location was great. Opp Hard Rock Cafe and the Casino and a few minutes walk from van Gogh Museum and high end shops. By far the best location in the City.

- Problems with lighting in the room. No extra pillows in the room. Our room was on the basis of overlooking the park next to the hotel but instead we were given a room overlooking the rooftops. Nothing special in that. No hand towels/ slippers in the bathroom despite requests.

+ Grate, very clean, across from Hard Rock and even had a play pin set up for my 6 month old when I got there. Parking under the hotel. Very nice and grate resturant in lobby. Will stay there again

+ Excellent hotel very clean and modern and near the museum district and close to all the amenities that Amsterdam has to offer

- Could not find any faults, my only comment is we both like a mug of tea at breakfast and the hotel only had small cups which I would say are coffee size so we had to pour 2 cups at a time as they were so small, so bigger mugs at breakfast would be a good idea. There was only one toast making machine also which can get busy at peak times, so an additional one would be a good idea.

+ We really enjoyed our stay at Park Hotel. The staff were very helpful and happily went out of their way to accomodate us. I will definitely be staying in this hotel on my next visit to Amsterdam and I have eagerly reccomended others to stay in this hotel. The rooms were a very good size and the decor was beautiful. I can't wait for my next visit their. We weren't lucky enough to have a room on the front of the hotel but if you did I imagine the view would be stunning.

- None whatsoever. An all round amazing holiday very much helped by the staff at this hotel.

+ A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms were fantastic, bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in, and little touches like the heavy 'black out' curtains ensured we got a great night sleep. Highly recommend

- Some of the lower floors may get a bit of noise from the road outside, but please don't let this put you off as it is a small point in comparison to the plus points

+ - Bonne situation de l'hôtel par rapport au centre d'Amsterdam. - Décoration moderne et agréable, particulièrement dans le hall d'entrée (à relativiser pour le temps que l'on y passe), nettement moins dans la chambre.

- - Chambre minuscule - Design sympathique mais gros soucis de conception : Par exemple, dans la salle de bains, le jet du robinet du lavabo coule directement sur le marbre... pas terrible pour un 4 étoiles! - Propreté/Hygiène douteuse (dessus de lit maculé de tâches, cheveux et poussières apparentes...) - Service très limite pour le standing supposé de l'hôtel : Par exemple, au retour d'une soirée en ville, après avoir plusieurs fois appelé l'interphone, on a attendu pendant 10 min dehors dans la rue, avant qu'un employé daigne nous ouvrir! Pour 150€ par nuit, même à Amsterdam, on est en droit d'attendre mieux.

+ Very comfortable bed and bathroom decorated to a high standard. Excellent porter and reception staff, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic location.

- The lift going to room 520 was very old and a bit scary. The smell outside the room was not nice (either food from kitchen or something).

+ THE most comfortable bed! Very cool rooms and location. Very helpful staff.

- Weird smell in the halls but the room was fine. Internet a bit pricey...4 Euros for 15 minutes.

+ Good location. Mostly helpful staff. Reasonably priced (I booked early on the Internet).

- No matter what I tried, water from the shower would end up almost flooding the floor of the toilet next to the shower. That was room 321. Internet usage a bit pricey.

+ Room 653 had a nicer view that room 321 (which I stayed in the previous week). Also had a bath in 653 which 321 didn't have. Again, I like the location of the hotel. Not far away from most of the action and very near the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum.

- Little things like the layout of the bathroom.

+ Location was Ok, close to the center of town, very nice cafe's just around the corner. Nice and helpfull staff. Rooms not 5 star anymore, might have been when it was new. the rooms were clean and the one we had (314) was a good size. They should get a larger TV to get the rate up a little.

- Nothing bad to say about this place, the only minus thing is the prize, it does not live up to what I would expect of a 5 star hotel.

- One guy very rude at the reception, I don't remember his name but he was not kind at all. Also the elevator for other rooms (324 etc.) didn't work at all times so we had to use stairs.

+ Very nice interior and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was excellent - both the selection and quality of the food

- The hotel is quite a way from Central station and is on the far edge of the city, although there are quite a lot of bars/restaurants etc in the surrounding area. There was no hairdryer in our room and the one provided by room service was old and didn't work properly. The shower looked good but leaked all over the room.

+ Staff very wellcoming, cheerful and helpful. Although major refurbishment was in progress it was well managed and generally unobtrusive.

- Minor point - On arrival rubbish bin in room had not been emptied. I would suggest non-slip mats supplied as a matter of course - bath surface very smooth and extra care had to be exercised.

+ Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

- In older part of hotel, the furnishings and floor were stained with god knows what. In the new remodeled part of the hotel,the rooms were too small to be comfortable. I whacked my head on the television as there was not enough room to bend over to pick something up off the floor. The new showers leaked through the shower walls all over the floor surrounding them.

+ As a regular visitor (twice a year for the past 8-10 years) to the Park Hotel I could not fault the service,food, or the friendliness of the staff - as usual excellent.

- I was, however very disappointed in the bedroom. I had booked a superior room and I understand this was one of the newly decorated rooms. The bathroom, although very comfortable had very little or no space around the sink for toiletries and as there was not a dressing table in the bedroom, (apart from the desk at end of bed with tv,room service menu etc and only a longer mirror on the wall) it was not easy to get ready to go out. The bedside lighting although modern was adequate for reading in bed but not sufficient for lighting the room without the brighter ceiling light. A lamp somewhere in the room would have been acceptable. On a safety issue the door of the room took too long to close on it's spring and too hard to push. A female on her own going back to the room late at night would be very vunerable

+ La situación es buena.

- El personal directivo malo, hemos tenido problemas y no han querido ni escucharlos y mucho menos solucionarlos. El baño mal, cuando te duchas hay agua por toda la habitación. El servicio de limpieza no deja las toallas a tiempo, por la tarde no había toallas. El personal de administración o recepción no quieren hablar en español, cuando siempre hay alguien que sabe hablarlo.
