- Good choice in Canal Ring
- Great location! Perfectly comfortable rooms, everything went smoothly about our stay. The twin room was actually two connected singles with one bath - which was nice.
- 10 euros for breakfast is definitely not worth paying (there are cheaper breakfast options just around the corner)

- Good location, resonable price
- They gave me a map on check-in that highlighted the shopping, nightlife, etc. areas which helped A LOT!
About a 10 minute walk from Rembrandt Square and Leides Square.
The 1 Euro STOP/GO buses pass right in front of the hotel so perfect to get to/from Central Station...especially if you have heavy bags!

- The bathroom is large, which makes it a easy to use. The hotel room provided kettle and cups for coffee and tea. This Superior deluxe room has a view of the canal.

- Well located boutique hotel with a pretty frontage.
- Cannot fault its location and frontage.
- The shelving unit in the attached bath is miserably small. After accommodating the toiletries (shampoo, bath gel, 2 tiny pieces of soap and body moisturizer, and 2 stacked up disposable cups)provided by the hotel, there is no room even for a tube of toothpaste and personal toiletries. Wish the hotel would provide a reasonable size shelving unit.

- Mini holiday with nice canal view
- Very good and nice location with canal view. Very kind staff in the reception. Nice to have coffee and tea arrangement at the room. Local transport near by (trams and stop-and-go-bus).
- Only minor things, such as no refilling of instant coffee one of the days. Breakfast 10 EURO was nothing to look forward to. Rooms (twin rooms) were warm so we used the two ventilators/fans.

- We stayed in the garden, which was lovely. The decor needed a touch up, and they didn´t replace tea bags, etc., but on the whole it was excellent - really peaceful and great for a short stay.

- Agreeable location from which to explore Amsterdam
- Great location and the view overlooking the canals was pleasing. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. The bed was large and spacious.
- The shower didn't get as warm as we would have liked but at least it wasn't freezing cold. The room itself was very small but that didn't bother my wife and I since all of our waking hours were spent exploring the city and we only returned to our room to sleep.

- Nice clean hotel in a good location. If possible try to book the rooms higher up since the reception level where I stayed was a bit noisy when other guests arrived in the middle of the night. Alright breakfast and you can probably sit outside weather permitting

- The Garden House was an excellent time!
- Overall, our group was VERY satisfied and even extended our resrvation. The Garden outside is a beuatiful atmosphere for a vacation in Amsterdam. There are tables and ashtrays outside of the room in the garden. The bathroom is large and nice, and the two separate bedrooms with two nice TVs made the house a pleasant place to rest in.
The location is OK: It is a bit south of the heart of Amsterdam, but just a tram ride away from the leidseplein, De wallen, or Neiuwmarkt. The front desk will keep your key for you so it doesn't get lost. There is someone attending the front at all times.
There is a albert Heinz Grocery store just north on the main street (go right when you walk out of the hotel and then right again on the main road).
To get there from Central Station, take either the 16, 24, or 25 down to the Keizersgracht stop, and then walk south a block to the prinsengracht where you turn left to find it on the north side of the canal.
- Smoking is not allowed in the room :( (but we did anyways). If you want to smoke inside, try to do it in the evenings or after the maid comes (I wouldn't condone cigarettes). You can always put up the DO NOT DISTURB sign. The breakfest is crummy and 11 Euros...safe to say we did not pay for it.

- I stayed in the delux room for 160 euro for 2 nights on the first floor. it was spacious, clean, pleasant with a 10 min walk into the main tourist areas, The night door/reception man was very helpful indeed

- I can give plus points for location, good atmosphere of the hotel and the profesionalism of the receptionists.
- No minibar in the room, which can be wrong especially in the hot sommer days.
The supply of the drinks (beer) in the bar at weekend wasn't enough.

- Clean, comfortable, great location, skip the breakfast.
- My room was small but clean and comfortable, plus there was a nice view from the room I was staying in over a rear garden and it was not noisy also tea making facilities which in my opinion is always a plus. Big plus is location.
- I didn't have breakfast while I was there but I did take a look and was not tempted by it. Fruit which as far as I could see was tinned (!!!) Breakfast at €10 extra was not cheap and I felt what was on offer for that price - particularly in terms of nutrition - was poor.

- I wish it had been possible, during the hot weather, to open the window of room 406 wider than 10 cm. I did not comment at the time, because I saw that nothing could be done straightaway to change the window design. Next time I shall ask not for 406.
