Nice & clean hotel in The city-center

• + The hotel is placed in a key-point 5 minutes walking from Damm Platz, te central statino and from amsterdam's nigh-zone
• – The room i got tris time had just a Window looking on The pavement of an inner court

what about the glaswalls??

• + Nice breakfast. Especially the man working there saturday 6th was a true gentleman.
• – The glaswalls of the toilet in a doubleroom is a really disaster. Who wants that? Who came up with such an idea? And not even possible to close/lock the toiletdoor properly?
• * my tip Close to the trainstation, thats good.

• + I have been your guest before, and I have recommened your hotel to my Norwegian friends, This time i visit Amsterdam and your hotel with my cousin, Both of us had a very nice time at Westcord,
• * my tip I will reccomend Mark Raven. His pictures are a fine way to remember Amsterdam and your staying.

Great Stay

• + Central location, great beds, nice shower, and a fantastic view!
• – Room too dark.

• + We had an excellent stay at the Westcord City Centre in Amsterdam. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean & very nice. We also loved the buffet breakfast. We were visiting from the USA & the room a a somewhat smaller than the USA, but we still had plenty of room. It was also in a very convenient location. Would definitely recommend.

Clean hotel but

• + Clean hotel. Comfy bed. Clean environment.
• – Toilets and shower area very small. It is a see through toilet so it feel awkward. The staff at the reception messed up our return trip to airport. We had bought return tickets to airport with hotel shuttle bus and we were informed the hotel could help us call the company. We did that the evening before but we discovered that the hotel staff booked a taxi for bus instead. This means that we cannot utilise the return trip ticket to the airport. On top of that, we had to pay 45 euros to airport.
• * my tip Don't book this hotel if you travel with friends and cannot stand them seeing you shower.

Very practical and stylish

• – Breakfast was poor and expensive. The overhead shower was leaking. Water drops kept falling long time after taking shower, the echo of it was annoying, took quite a while before you could fall asleep...

Enjoyable stay, shame about the bed.

• + Very comfortable bed linin, great shower and nice hotel lobby.
• – Double deluxe room was not as big as in the photo. Two single beds pushed together is not a double bed! Kept falling down the crack!
• * my tip Make sure you get a proper double bed

Good balance of cost/quality, good central location

• + Good balance of cost/quality. Excellent location for central Amsterdam, yet quiet.

• + Location is perfect. Service is good. The room is clean and neat.
• – There is no space for putting your personal stuff in the washroom. The shower is very easy to wet the floor of the bathroom.

nice hotel

• + Went with my boyfriend and we loved the hotel.No time restriction on coming in which is good.Room nice and clean and it had a quirky feel to it.Close to shops,station and all those lovely coffee shops..
• – I was not happy that I had to leave 100 euros as a deposit with reception. I had to take this off my spending money while there. If they had mentioned this when booking then I would have known.

• – Rooms a little cramped for a hotel in this price bracket.

• + -good price/quality with my offer at least (69 euro/night for single). rooms are small as is always the case given the location, but nice and decorated with a bit of style. Small but good bathroom with great shower. You do notice the difference with similarly-centrally located hotels where you pay 40 euro, this has a good feel to it. free wireless.
• – -the glass bathroom door was actually a nice touch in the single, but I can see how it could be a problem for couples or friends sharing a room...

• – Be ready for check you credit card account for one night My second key-card don't working At day was loud hearing worker. They did fix building.

• + The best thing about this hotel is its location
• – Too many things starting form the small room and poor luby and many others.
• * my tip The room are very small. There is no space to even eat in the room.

• + Location excellent. Reasonable price for a capital city. Friendly staff. Quirky hotel but would recommend.
• – We ordered a double room and the bed we had was 2 single mattresses pushed together. I kept falling into the gap between the mattresses which although funny at first, didn't give me a great night's sleep. The hinge on the shower head in the bathroom was broken/very loose and didn't stand up - also the shower tray is not very deep and therefore water spills out onto the bathroom floor.

Perfect City Hotel

• + The staff were very friendly & helpful. We were moved to stay in another hotel the first night, but it worked out perfectly as they provided a taxi to get us there & it meant we were closer to another part of the city to explore. Perfect! The next day we moved back to the Westcord & they upgraded us as they said it was their fault for being overbooked. Very efficient service.

• – Price is steep, bathroom door is clear glass in parts, rooms are a little on the small side. area not so picturesque but only a 5 minute walk to nicer areas, would have been nice if breakfast had been included for the price.
