- Beautiful hotel but not very friendly staff!!
- This hotel is central, everything is within walking distance.
- No kettle in room
Parking in the hotel car park costs 50 euro (they don't tell you that when you park though so watch out)
Staff not very friendly

- Nice modern hotel, 4-star service
- Very clean hotel, centrally located, friendly service.
- The bare minimum when it comes to toiletries in the rooms, WIFI at a charge, and hotel was short staffed, took a long time to check in and out.

- Stylish, comfortable but rather expensive given room limitations
- Room was well equipped, stylish and comfortable. Friendly staff.
- Noisy - was an adjoining room and we could hear everything next door, which means of course that the reverse is also true. Also, no view at all, just a brick wall across a narrow alleyway. Felt expensive given these issues.

- Renaissance A'dam.- good service,clean,efficient staff
- Service was excellent. One of the best breakfasts I have ever experienced in terms of choice and quality of food.
- It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

- Hotel well situated - easy walk from Central station (all be it not well marked - is in a small side street so a map helps). Immaculate inside - room fair size, modern and well equipped. Good breakfast too.
- Expensive for internet access - this should be free.

- Look at the deals at the hotel- they are well worth it!
- Very close to the centre. Room was spot on. The hotel said it had been refurbished- and it had.
All staff happy to help.
Excellent quality.
We got the package that included use of the club lounge(with free drinks)- excellent value with the price that pubs and cares charge out there
- Took one of the new travel money cards from the travel agents. Was accepted all over in Amsterdam- not in this hotel- really embarrasing!!

- Good hotel facility let down by service
- Well implemented refurbishment of a large city centre hotel.
- Cleaning staff walked into our room while we were asleep and started cleaning bathroom - unforgivable.

- Location +++ Service +-
- Excellent location for train travellers. Rooms are thoroughly clean.
- 1) Our reservation was for a Deluxe Room - but were downgraded upon arrival (were told there was no other room available...). The ''only room available'' that evening happened however to have an unbearable sewage smell, which prompted the front desk handlers to ''suddenly'' find another available room - but there was still no upgrade or compensation for the inconvenience.
2) Check-in/out personnel slow and quite unresponsive - needs training.
3) Insist for a room onto the canal view, and on the upper floors - the rooms towards the train station / city ''view'' are right on the street thus noisy, esp. on the lower floors.
4) Were not told that there would be no bath, just a shower (double size though).
5) No kettle or cups in the room for hot drinks, tea/coffee, which we found quite ''cheap'', considering the 5* rating.'
6) No proper staircase to avoid the lenghty wait for the lifts. Emergency staircase in v. poor conditions.

- Super Hotel
- it is so central to everything. Breakfast was included in our package
and was lovely with lots of choice. Room was lovely and clean and very stylish with a large lcd tv and mini bar, bath robes and slippers and a full size ironing board and iron in the wardrobe. The bed was one of the most comfortable that i have ever stayed in.
- no tea or coffee making facilities which was surpriseing for a five star hotel and i just asumed that there would be so take a travel kettle and supplies.

- Recommended
- Suberb location for a weekend break - walking distance to the city centre (10 mins) but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. It's also very easy to find even if you don't know the city and it's a short walk from the train station too.
- The rooms are small but comfortable. We got wheelchair access room so we didn't get a bath and we weren't even told that when we checked in. Front desk staff will stop dealing with you to answer the phone which is about the rudest thing someone in customer service can do. Checking in took an age, too. Breakfast is expensive and really nothing special. There are lots of great place to eat in the locality that cost half as much.

- ligging; voorzieningen
- administratieve onvolkomenheden.

- echt heel prima hotel, alles keurig verzorgd. Heel fijn bed en prettige kamer. Personeel prima, heel vriendelijk.

Bijzonder goede bedden.
