Great Hotel
  • + Hotel next door to the Carre Theatre so that was the reason we booked. Location was great with fabulous views of the river Amstel. We arrived earlier than our check-in time but, as room was ready, we were able to use our room. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly and even made tea coffee on request.
  • Would like to have had tea coffee making facilities in room.
  • * my tip We booked hotel as is next door to Carre Theatre. Location is great and only five minutes walk to restaurants and bars. Would stay here again when visiting Amsterdam.

Nice Stay in Amsterdam
  • + The Hotel is situated in a calm and good area.
  • The room that was allotted to us was a dungeon which had no outside view at all, in spite of my asking specifically for a room with a good front canal view.

would definitely return for my next visit
  • + location could not be better, staff were great, very good value for what you get, breakfast was superb for an inclusive type of breakfast. it was extremely quiet , and had a view of the canal z(a boat was directly out side my window in fact).lovely modern decor, all newly renovated. very good shower.
  • had to walk up stairs with luggage. would be a deterrent for those unable to get around physically (the elderly or handicapped). hard to find from directions on website- wandered lost in the rain, no one knew where it was and the directions of 200 metres from the tram were not accurate. but just ahve the exact address with you (unlike me, only relying on the directions ) and it would be easy to find.

A lovely friendly hotel on the banks of the Amstel...
  • + A lovely friendly hotel, sitting on the banks of the Amstel. Just out of the centre of Amsterdam (20mins walk from Centraal Station) it's location is great because you don't hear traffic & and people outside at night.. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the rooms had a modern feel, with flat screen LCD tv's, and walk in showers. The hotel also contains free internet for guests. As the hotel is a B&B, breakfast was provided, with a wide range of items. A person was on the front desk 24 hours a day and was always helpful! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Bridge Hotel and would stay there again if I went back to Amsterdam. I would also recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank you!

A happy visit to Amsterdam.
  • + Excellent location, staff attitude, breakfast and organisation. The room was ideal for us and enabled us to tour the whole city from a quiet and relaxing hotel.
  • We are used to tea and coffee making facilities and availability of hairdryer but these did not spoil the holiday.

Great hotel with good prices and spotless accomodations
  • + We were upgraded to the gold apt on the top floor and it was spacious, so clean, and had a fantastic view of the amstel. The breakfast was in a bright sunny room with hot and cold items. The owner also told us of a wondeerful Indonesian restaurant that we enjoyed our last night. Would highly recommend the Bridge. Also it was totally clean and appliances and baths were spotless.
  • It is not in the center of activity. That can be both a plus and a minus. We found by canal boat or the nbr 9 tram we could get anywhere in minutes.

Niente ascensore. Bagno molto vecchio risalente agli anni '70.Moquette con macchie abbastanza estese.Arredamento antiquato.

Coming again

Overpriced and a bit shabby - it's a good job Amsterdam is wonderful
  • + Nice room but the others we saw were not so good. The view from the room (amstel view room) was lovely.
  • Nice room but we were promised a balcony which we found to be locked due to maintenance. No tea and coffee making facilities, no fridge, no balcony, no plastic cups at the water fountain and a very odd evening receptionist. This is not a cheap hotel, I paid 510 Euros for 3 nights and if I'm honest expected a little more than what we got.
