Comfort stay.

• + Free, easy wi-fi. Bus stop in front of the hotel. Silence during night. Bike rent.
• – Location not special but it's close few minutes from the center by bus or bike.

Weekend visit in Amsterdam

• + Clean hotel, friendly staff, good rooms
• – Price of breakfast !

• + Secure Parking Garage Great food at the lounge
• – Secure Parking Garage costs 22.50 Euro a day. On our 2nd visit to the lounge, I think the waitress was new- as there was "a problem with the sauce" - resulting in our waiting an hour for our food. That and the waitress never came back to check on us after taking our order. Our 2nd waitress was much more helpful and even gave us a free coffee.

• + comfortable room, good service at the reception and in the restaurant, good travel connection to the city center
• – dirty room at the arrival, not enough wide menu card in the restaurant

• + clean room and bathroom. The beds were good and even the bedsofa was good. Aircondition nice and had no sound! Ordinary room service was good.
• – the service in the reception could be more active , like asking about if we wanteed to rent bicykles or being more helpfull with for example with "I Amsterdam card" and maps. (we missed a toilet brush)

I shall miss those sentry cows!

• + The whimsical art theme in the hotel was a delight, especially the wildly painted cow figures standing sentry in front of the hotel. The very Dutch bar-bistro is very cozy and nice---better to eat here than in the restaurant.
• – The restaurant is over-priced. Service in restaurant is poor.

Remote Location but a very nice and comfortable stay

• + We checked in and left for the day and when we arrived back very late at night, we found the sofa bed had been prepared for us. Considering how tired we were, this was a great surprise.
• – It is a bit far away from the inner city, especially for those walking on foot.

• + can supply free WIFI -- very important for business trip convenience transportation to centrl railway staition
• – single bed room is too small.

• – expensive rooms and expensive breakfast,- the breakfast should have been included in the room price. No room service.

• + The hotel bedroom was small but very well decorated. The beds were so comfortable it was unreal.The staff themselves were very polite to us throughout our holiday and helped in any way possible.
• – I thought the only bad point was upon arrival when a member off staff by the name of hans used my card to take 100 euro pre approval off my card even though we had paid in full before arrival. I was later told that this was to cover anything from the bar but 100 euro was a lot to take off a card.

• + Well laid out, very clean and tidy with excellent reception staff. All staff pleasant and friendly. Location quiet but close enough for getting into Amsterdam Centre.
• – Although mini-bar a nice feature, tea/coffee making facilities would be a good point

• – -Breakfast wasn't included to the price -Location was a bit disappoinmnet, and the public connections to the town centre wasn't very good, especially at night time

• + The location of the hotel is the ideal one, as it has the bus-stop right outside and it is located in a green area. We were very pleased by the people who are working in the hotel, as they did the best for us, both in August that we had faced a health problem and now. The "Art cafe" has also excellent service and the people who are working there are very helpful and polite too. We plan to come again for a longer stay in summer of 2008 (God help us, of course). Is there a possibility of having lower rates? That would enable us to visit Amsterdam at least once a year, as we simply adored it!!! Thanks!
• – Wherever I have stayed including the Balcans, there exist free computers and printers. Internet services are free, plus one can write and save anything in a Word format. I was displeased by the fact that I had to pay a lot for the internet services in the hotel.

• + The room we stayed in was very clean, spacious and very quiet and made our stay very enjoyable. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay in your hotel again if we made a return trip.
• – We found the bar food was quite expensive but the quality was good.
