Stay at a farm, but a tad bit different: Restinn Hotel Andijk offers its guests true hotel facilities besides a good bed. The detached double apartments lie in the middle of nature. The shape and decoration of the apartments are surprising and were exclusively designed by architect Henri Leloup from Warder. Also extraordinary is the fact that the hostess of Restinn Hotel Andijk comes to serve a tasty breakfast in the apartment each morning. Each night she prepares a very enticing dinner on the spot.
The milch cattle farm of family Van Zanten with their 40 cows and a herd of sheep lies in the vicinity of the double apartments. The farm is situated on 20 hectares of land of which some is occasionally used for grwoing tulips as well. Of course this creates a wonderful sight in spring. If the family is available, they are very willing to give guests a tour. The area around Andijk is very attractive for walking or cycling. In the Restinn, information about several routes is supplied.
Food and Drinks
Each morning the hostess serves a delightful and extensive breakfast. A lunch package for on the road can be provided at a charge. On request she serves a tasty 2 or 3 course dinner between a time in consultation with this friendly lady. You can choose from various meat, vegetarian and fish dishes and matching wines are served to accompany your meal. In the minibar guests will find various drinks, snacks and sweets. Nice to know: in the direct vicinity of the farm famous potato species are cultivated.

Surroundings
Not far from the farm lies Andijk, a real West-Frisian village with ribbon building. The feformed church is worth visiting, as well as the Polder Museum that is located directly on the dyke Omringdijk. In this museum permanent exhibits are on display, including information on 5000 years living and working in the polder Het Grootslag. From the dyke a lovely bicycle ride can be made to the charming town of Enkhuizen. This picturesque and lively city is worth a visit. Beautiful swimming opportunities are to be found at recreation center Streekbos Canoe Rental Elf has canoes for rent.
