With two stars, De Bedstay is a modest hotel that aims at tourists looking for a pleasant stay and with the freedom to explore the inner city of Antwerp. In the shade of the Vleeshuis (meathouse) and within a stone's throw of the River Schelde, you are situated at a minutes' walk from the Grote Markt and the centre of the old city.
De Bedstay is a wonderful place to stay and get away from daily life, or be by yourself. Every room is uniquely furnished. The hotel has single, double, triple and quad rooms. The single rooms are equipped with a private shower and a toilet. The remaining rooms also have their own kitchen in which you can cook your meals. After preparation you may dine at the dinner table in your room. For a time of quiet and comfort these rooms have a cosy lounge. Of course, in a city like Antwerp, which never really sleeps, you can always leave behind the peace and quiet of your room to plunge into the bustling cafés, busy restaurants and theaters.

The hotel does not have a restaurant or a bar, but if you would like to go out for dinner, there are more than a few possibilities in the near the hotel. Many Antwerp restaurants have classical French cuisine, with delicate Belgian accents and ingrediënts. The largest concentration of restaurants you will find around the historical centre and in South Antwerp. At the Groenplaats you can have dinner at the foot of the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe cathedral, or have a pleasant drink on one of the lively outdoor terraces. Another unique facility that the hotel offers is the picnic basket, which is placed in front of your room every morning at 9:00 h. and contains your breakfast. You can arrange the time of delivery with the De Bedstay's friendly staff.
