- Antwerp centre has a large pedestrian zone. You are recommended to park your car and then get around on foot or by public transport. In Antwerp there are many large parking garages, especially near the station and the centre around the Meir and Hopland. In the old centre you can park at an additional charge in the parking garages under the Groenplaats and the Grote Markt.
