Surroundings
The Astoria Hotel is located in the heart of Antwerp, close to the central train station and within walking distance of the Diamond District and the stylish shopping street De Keyserlei. Within 1 kilometre from the hotel you can find the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe cathedral, the Rubenshuis, the Antwerp Zoo, the bird market and several theatres.
Food and Drinks
Breakfast is served every morning between 07:00 and 10:00 h.
The hotel does not have a bar or restaurant but within walking distance there is a wide variety of restaurants and bars. The hotel staff can advice you on a good place to eat. Antwerp is known for its culinary delights.

We appreciated the free Internet, the excellent beds, the quiet location, the helpful staff, the yummy buffet breakfast, and felt comfortable and safe. We were able to walk to Antwerp Central Station with no problem.

Comfortable and affordable, this hotel makes you forget its few cons.

Great price. Comfortable beds. Very close to the central station, as well as the (very jewish) diamond district. Very pleasing breakfast offering.

Bathroom looked somewhat old (rusty, damaged handle in the bathtum for example). Missing shower gel in the available shower gel dispenser. Did they just forget to refill it? Kind of amateuristic.
Unusual TV set with built in internet, movies and ordinary TV channels. Sounds great, but it isn't clear what's free and what needs to be paid for, so the result is a very careful customer who ends up sticking with regular television.
No safe to put valuables in.
But honestly, the hotel is great for the price you pay.
