Hotel Scheldezicht is an excellent base for exploring Antwerp. The hotel offers rooms for 1 to 5 persons. Wireless internet is available in all rooms. The rooms are simply furnished and some rooms have a private toilet.
The simple but cosy family hotel lies in the historic heart of the city, on a relatively quiet square near the river Scheldt. Just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel are two of the biggest tourist attractions of Antwerp: the Grand Place and the magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral.
In the lively city of Antwerp is plenty to see and do for everyone. It is the home town of painter Peter Paul Rubens and a visit to the Rubens House on Wapper street is highly recommended. The Plantin Moretus Museum with its historic sixteenth-century printing office and the 'MoMu' Fashion Museum are two special museums that are located near Hotel Scheldezicht.

There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are plenty of good restaurants in Antwerp.

Shoppers can indulge in the many shops that the 'fashion city of Antwerp' offers. The main shopping streets are the Rue Nationale, the 'Meir' and 'Keyserlei'. Nearby Hotel Scheldezicht are a number of antique shops and every Sunday morning an antique market is held on St. Jansvliet. Good food and drinks are two of the things that the citizens of Antwerp are very fond of. There are many terraces, bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a well-deserved drink or meal after a day of shopping or sightseeing. Around the Green Market and the Grand Place are a number of charming cafés and bars.
