Hotel Keyserlei Antwerpen

Lovely and warming staff but horrible hotel.

• + The staff where very friendly and couldn't do enough assist me during my stay. Very welcoming and warm people. For this reason alone I would stay again but only if it was refurbished to a higher standard.
• – This hotel is in need of major refurbishment and it is very unpleasant and dull looking. Of course this is not the staffs fault as I can see quite clearly that they do a good job in hard conditions with regards to cleaning etc... Because of this the price of the rooms are far to expensive at €70 although it did include breakfast. In my mindset I would no pay no more than €30 for a room in this hotel including breakfast. It is far to expensive for what we have become accustomed to in this era
• * my tip It is a great central location with really lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you. Prepare to be disappointed as this hotel is not up to standard for the price they charge. It is dull and grotty and needs a major refurbishment.

Hotel reception recommended ear plugs

• + close to shops. spacious room.
• – Booked 2 nights, but had to check out after 1 , Hotel was too noisy to get any sleep. In urgent need of a makeover and some double glazing.. Cramped breakfast room. Photo on website IS NOT Hotel, bit misleading.

Great value for money and conveniently situated.

• + Great value for money for a shopping spree and city trip. A bit outdated, but clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast and parking garage a few meters away, as well as public transport.

The hotel where things don't work

• + The bedwas comfortable the room was spacious
• – Visa machine did not work; Light in bathroom and two lamps in bedroom did not work. Elevator did not work between ground and first floors and stairway between those floors is extremely dangerous toanyone of limited mobility. Staff did not seem concerned

A reasonable, clean and comfortable Bed & Breakfast hotel in Antwe

• + The reception was polite and good. But failed to inform what tellephone number to dial if you wanted to get in touch with the recption, once in the room. There was no card or instruction in the room for telephone use. i.e. Instructions to make calls from the Room. In the breakfast room again there was no welcome or Greetings or a responsible person interested to llok after Guests. They need to improve this. Otherwise the room was nice and clean and comforable and resonably priced.1 litre water bottle E4.

Friendliest staff in Antwerp

• + Every single member of staff from receptionist to cleaner was friendly, helpful and - seemingly - happy! Able to leave luggage on my last day on a permanently-manned front desk. Nice clean bathroom
• – Some of the decor is a little aged and the carpets a bit worn. Morning coffee from a machine tastes like instant...

Nice hotel on centre of the city

Simple and clean, but not the level of a three star hotel.

• + Location good. Breakfast is good.
• – 3 in 1 (bath soap, shampoo, conditioner) no (plastic) cups in bathroom.

Comfortable hotel providing easy access to Antwerp

• + Excellent quiet comfortable room ideally located for visiting the home of Rubens and the great collections or art of past local residents. Likely the most spectacular Cathedral in Europe close at hand.

A good hotel for a city trip or a trip to Antwerps sportpaleis

• + Very near to central station
• – Just a normal hotel nothing special, but for me that's okay

Reliable and highly recommended

• + Clean, spacious rooms, microwave and tv with large channel selection available, excellent central location.
• – The breakfast room is very small, so at busy times there's a queue to get in.

• + location is the biggest plus and kind personnel is the second.
• – noisy customer profile, old furniture, smoke smell in the room
