The good accessibility and the many facilities the hotel has to offer guarantee a comfortable and memorable stay.

The Plaza Hotel Antwerpen is situated south of the city garden 'Stadspark'. With excellent exit roads towards the city centre, the hotel forms an excellent choice for anyone who likes to discover the inner city in all its aspects. At a couple of hundred meters away you will find the Central Station, from where a short stroll will take you to the most important areas of interest. Next to the station are the Zoo of Antwerp as well as the enchanting 'Aquatopia', the 'Rubenshuis' and the 'Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten' (fine arts).

Food and Drinks

In the morning hotel guests can enjoy an American breakfast buffet between 07:00 and 11:00 h. in the sunny 'Orangerie', in which cherrywood elements are implemented to enhance the atmosphere. In this oasis of tranquility waking up is delightful. The English/Victorian interior of the Victoria Bar offers a tasteful backdrop for a cosy conversation, accompanied by a Belgian beer or snack. A good hotel for a city break

  • + Beautiful hotel & room (we got a free upgrade to a junior suite), great breakfast, good location. 20 minutes walk from the real centre - ideal for an after diner walk back to the hotel. I would go to this hotel again and hope nothing in my room needs fixing.

  • + the bonde waitress in the breakfast room was excellent, very friendly and accomodating, nothing was too much trouble for her. the staff were friendly, efficient.
  • – The double bed, was in fact two singles put together, which as you moved in the night the beds moved apart, thus finding yourself in a void in the morning. If the hotel insists to have singles why not use fitted double sheets, to keep the matresses together.

  • + Great service, excellent bar with a good choice of beers, decent parking, close to the park, easily accessed by car and not hard to find, good breakfast buffet and clean, comfy rooms.
  • – For a hotel which says its located in the centre of the city, walking to the shopping area and old town still takes some time. However, if you don't mind a 15-30 min walk this should not be a problem. Depending on yourself, the very classical style of the hotel might also not be your taste. As a young couple we felt out of place at times with regards to the other guests.
