Hotel Scandic Antwerp is situated on the edge of Antwerp. Antwerp Airport is 10 minutes away. The centre of Antwerp is easily accessible by car as well as by public transport. Antwerp has plenty to offer. For instance, you can take a walk along the river Schelde leading you to the old centre. The Grand Place is also worth visiting, where you'll find the impressive Cathedral of Our Lady. And this the point where you can start your shopping spree in the famous street, the Meir, which has loads to offer the avid shopper. The zoo is located next to Antwerp central station; fun for all ages!

Breakfast is available from Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 10:00, and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 07:00 to 11:00. The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 19:00 to 22:30, and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 19:00 to 22:00. The restaurant serves local dishes and fresh fish. Weer heerlijk genoten in hotel scandic en antwerpen.

We zijn weer prima ontvangen in het hotel, heerlijk ontbijtje gehad, fijne kamer. Wat zeker een verrassing was is dat we pas om 1200 uit hoefden te checken op zaterdag, super!!
*my tipHeerlijk gegeten bij de Argentijn El torro oude koornmarkt 12 vlakbij de kerk in het centrum, en het theatertje de peerdenstal, heerlijk gelachen onder in de catacomben. Betaalbaar 14 euro pp voor een echt Bels toneelstuk, Rare Poen geheten. vooraf via internet te boeken!
Met de tram die op de hoek stopt ben je snel in het centrum , kaart bij de receptie te koop.

Good facilities. Internet acts slowly but appropriate. Breakfast is of good quality. Appreciated my stay.

Non-humidified warm room condition. Lounge may have à more comfortable atmosphere. Not limiting if it is a short-stay.
*my tipComfortable and not too expensive hotel (with modest swimming pool and fitness centre) gives a fast entrance into antwerp region (but also for transit travel; close to Antwerp ring/major roads). I will certainly return for a stay.

The SMALLEST towels I have ever had in my life. Absolutely ridiculous. I actually thought they were mini floor mats, turned out they were towels. Only 2 provided. The other ones are hidden in a closet.
