Apeldoorn is the largest city in the nature area 'de Veluwe' and is known as the city of residence of the Dutch royal families. Queen Wilhelmina used to live in 'Paleis Het Loo', which is nowadays a national museum. Close to the palace, those who enjoy walking or biking can endulge in their passion on 'de Veluwe'. Here guests can explore the park using the 'white bikes' that are available for free. The 'Kröller-Müller Museum', with its modern art collection, is more than worth visiting.

Anonymous Relaxing stay at prime location in Apeldoorn: 27 June 2011; 10; + Excellent location to explore the extensive woods by bike or walking. The Palace Het Loo is nearby, and you can cycle into Apeldoorn within 15 minutes. The hotel has a modern decor, the room was very comfortable, with a balcony. Bikes can be hired at the hotel; - Can't think of any.

Nice quiet surroundings, close to the forest, castle het Loo and Apeldoorn city center.; - Bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better. Quite some "dust devils" on the floor. Toilet, sinks and bath were clean though.

Denis ROSIER Good... but far to correspond to the web description!: 2 March 2009; 6.8; + Good restaurant with reasonable prices.; - I have been extremely disapointed by the room description from the website, and the one I got. It was mentioned;"The non-smoking deluxe room is spacious and luxurious. The room offers a seating corner with two comfortable arm chairs, a big desk,...", with quite large room as picture. When entering my room, there was just enough space to walk between the bed and the desk, and to the TV, coffee machine, a (non working) lamp on the desk, there just enough space on the desk to put my laptop and working papers. When asking at the reception if that was normal they told me that romm was accordingly the my booking and that there was no mistake. I was far to get the decribed spacious room with the big desk that were the two main criterias for selecting this hotel! Just try to put reliable info on the room description. One minor detail, when booking the room I had mentioned "non-smoking room", when arriving at the hotel I was asked if I wanted a smoking or non smoking room... too bad people do not read the booking forms with the enclosed comments. Kamer (type DeLuxe) is een ruime complete kamer. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.; - We hadden via internet een junior suite geboekt en dit bleek achteraf een DeLuxe kamer te zijn.

rian Klantvriendelijkheid..?: 19 June 2010; 8.0; + locatie, hygiene en materiaal zoals bed en beddegoed etc...; - via internet geboekt. Avond voor aankomst werd er gebeld vanuit hotel dat ze creditkaart nummer nodig hadden. Aangezien ik deze niet had. Melde deze meneer dat hij mij wilde doorverwijzen naar een ander hotel. Blijkt dat ze overboekt waren. Dit gebeurde in een dwingende manier. En aantal keer werd herhaald dat ze mij wilde doorverwijzen. Uiteindelijk aankomstdag tijdig bij hotel gearriveerd om te betalen. Ook hier werden wij op een niet vriendelijke manier ontvangen. Er mag duidelijk aan klantvriendelijkheid worden gewerkt.
