Apeldoorn is the largest city in the nature area 'de Veluwe' and is known as the city of residence of the Dutch royal families. Queen Wilhelmina used to live in 'Paleis Het Loo', which is nowadays a national museum. Close to the palace, those who enjoy walking or biking can endulge in their passion on 'de Veluwe'.
