Apeldoorn is the largest city in the nature area 'de Veluwe' and is known as the city of residence of the Dutch royal families. Queen Wilhelmina used to live in 'Paleis Het Loo', which is nowadays a national museum. Close to the palace, those who enjoy walking or biking can endulge in their passion on 'de Veluwe'. Here guests can explore the park using the 'white bikes' that are available for free. The 'Kröller-Müller Museum', with its modern art collection, is more than worth visiting.

The hotel has spacious deluxe rooms, which are equipped with, among other things, a telephone, modem connection, desk, minibar, safe, television, and coffee and tea making facilities. In addition, the rooms are furnished with a sofabed. Surroundings

The woody surroundings of 'Park De Hoge Veluwe' offer many possibilities for those who enjoy a good walk or bike ride. Lovers of culture can enjoy 'Paleis Het Loo' or the 'Kröller-Müller Museum', in the middle of the national park. Apeldoorn has a number of beautiful residential areas, like the park area, with many monumental buildings. At a short distance from the hotel you may find the monkey zoo 'Apenheul' and the amusement park 'Koningin Julianatoren'.

  • + Good location to visit the royal palace ( 5 minute walk) Bus stop to the town centre adjacent, or walk ( 25/30 minutes)
  • – This is a 'business hotel' and they advertise free wifi but it does NOT connect if using Outlook, even after logging on to the hotel's server. The hotels in the group apparently closed it down because of the amount of 'scam' they were getting. Not surprised !!! My room was so small that sitting on bed end was the way to use 'the desk' and don't rush into the bathroom!! The door just clears the WC pan!! Food? Eat out !! Quality and price is not for the tourist.Only for business men's a

Relaxing stay at prime location in Apeldoorn
  • + Excellent location to explore the extensive woods by bike or walking. The Palace Het Loo is nearby, and you can cycle into Apeldoorn within 15 minutes. The hotel has a modern decor, the room was very comfortable, with a balcony. Bikes can be hired at the hotel

Very good value for money
  • + Very spacious rooms and bath rooms. Nice quiet surroundings, close to the forest, castle het Loo and Apeldoorn city center.
  • – Bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better. Quite some "dust devils" on the floor. Toilet, sinks and bath were clean though.
