Description
Hotel Moeke Mooren is established at almost the same spot as where the farmhouse 'Het Veerhuis' was situated about a century ago. The accompanying pedestrians ferry was operated by a woman called 'Moeke Mooren' who transferred men and woman from bank to bank in any kind of weather. At present the hotel has a restaurant called 'Moeke's Kaffeej' where guests can relax with a cup of coffee with apple pie, a bite or a beverage. The panoramic terrace is a great place to enjoy the lovely scenery on bright days. From the conservatory one has a view of the lakes of nature reserve 'De Gouden Ham'.
All rooms of Hotel Moeke Mooren are comfortably furnished. The rooms on the front look out over a recreational area and the rooms on the back offer a view of the polder landscape. To relax, guests may use one of the hotel's bowling alleys or make a cruise along the river 'Maas' with the vessel 'De Sluizer'.

The cosy restaurant 'De Gruijterij' offers a lovely view of the river Maas. The menu changes with the seasons.
