Description
Hotel 't Gemeentehuis lies along the 'Boterdiep' canal, in the middle of the historic heart of Bedum. The 'Ommelanden', the lands that surround the city of Groningen, used to be governed from this former council chamber. Wedding ceremonies were held on the upper floor, which was renovated in 2007. The hotel now has 17 rooms that meet all modern standards. All rooms have a flatscreen television and wireless Internet.
The hotel's restaurant is situated on the ground floor. The hotel also offers facilities to organise a party or a business meeting. The bustling city of Groningen is only 10 kilometers away from Bedum. The Walfriduskerk in Bedum is another interesting attraction. This millenium old church has the most leaning tower of Europe. The breakfast is served on weekdays from 07:00 to 10:00 h. and on the weekend from 08:00 to 10:00 h. In the restaurant you can enjoy soups and main courses with fish or meat.
