The neo-Gothic church and town hall are two buildings certainly worth seeing in Beernem. The area surrounding Hostellerie Ten Lande in Beernem is great for walking, cycling and horse riding; boasting fields, old farms and historic castles. The magnificent Flemish cities of Bruges and Ghent are certainly worth visiting. The medieval city of Bruges is like a large open air museum, and Ghent is known for its many museums, including the Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, not to mention its medieval castle Gravensteen, its Belfry and Cloth Hall and the St. Bavo Cathedral.
