Blooming Hotel is situated in the dune village Bergen in the province of Noord-Holland. The surrounding landscape of 11 hectares makes this hotel a perfect spot for those who like some peace and quiet. In and around the hotel you can find a wide range of facilities: several restaurants and terraces, a sunbathing area and an Internet lounge. Furthermore, Blooming has its own beach club and a large heated indoor pool with Jacuzzi and sauna. The pool is also equipped with massage jets. In the lounge guests can take a seat with a newspaper, art book or a glossy. For ultimate relaxation one can book a massage in the hotel.

The inspiring and refreshingly comfortable Blooming hotel rooms offer such amenities as a bath and/or shower and a safe. Several rooms have a small refrigerator. In Bergen aan Zee hotel guests have exclusive access to the Blooming beach club. Here you can fully enjoy the sun and the sea. In the dunes at Blooming Hotel Bergen there is a special sunbathing area as well. The hammocks and the large picnic table are perfect for those relaxing moments after a stroll in the surrounding landscape.

Food and Drinks

Breakfast is served every morning between 07:00 and 10:30. It is also possible to have breakfast in the privacy of your room. The hotel has several in-house restaurants and a bar-brasserie 'Aan de Waterkant' (Literally: On The Waterfront). Regional ingredients as well as exotic products are used as a source of inspiration for the dishes on the menu. On sunny days guests are able to enjoy a meal on one of the three outdoor terraces and themed dinners also regularly take place here, such as an African barbecue or a paella evening.

nice hotel.but the small double room isvery small-tinny room.
  • – the little double room wich we booked at first was actually a very very small room, with no wardrobe, no place for our luggages and not sufficiant place to move or walk in the room.it seeme that the owner has set a doubke bed in a regular single room.after that we had have to upgrade our room with surcharge.even then,there was no shower door in the bathroom.

  • + We have really enjoyed our stay at Blooming hotel. The hotel has a nice architecture and is beautifully located. We enjoyed the sauna and the swimming pool and last but not least the fantastic breakfast buffet!

Our Bloomin' Holiday
  • + Beautiful swimming pool. Fantastic location. Seemed to have some history and heritage but this was hard to see due to the Blooming branding which had taken over everywhere. Very nice breakfast.
  • – Atmosphere seemed a little austere and unwelcoming. We were give little information about the hotel's facilities and found things out by chance during our stay (eg that there was a children's room or that we could get hot water from the bar). The staff were very quiet and noone had a friendly chat with us until our very last day - this may be because we only spoke English, but it did seem very distant. Fire evacuation procedures were inadequate, as discussed with the manager, Finally, a little point to some, there was no kettle in the bedroom and I suffered greatly from lack of tea and coffee!

A very nice hotel, but it needs a bit more cleaning and service!
  • + The bathroom and bed were great, as well the whole hotelroom.
  • – The room was very dusty and need better cleaning. At breakfast we were sitting at a table where a big decoration plate was hanging at the wall. The decoration was also very dusty and not so nice to have breakfast there. There was no remote controle for the TV and we asked for it twice and they promissed to look into it, but we did not hear from them again.
